We have taken a turn towards self sustainabilty, Berlu is cash strapped due to the Mondadori fine and Finnivest (The group that owns Milan) have to pay 580 million euros

Its not that Berlu doesn't want to pay, is that he is a financially restrained

Also, even though people are complaining about Saponara not playing here, the idea that this U-21 kid is going to save us from the crappy situation we're in is ridiculous.

Here are the real problems:

1. We failed to reinforce our defence during the transfer season.

2. We failed to reinforce our midfield during the transfer season.

3. Injury crisis - Bonera, Abate, Silvestre, De Sciglio, Constant, El Shaarawy and now apparently Montolivo and Poli are injured.

4. Our back up defenders, particularly Emanuelson, are shambolic. Actually, to call him a defender is an insult to defenders everywhere.

5. Mexes and Zapata are going to weigh us down for the whole bloody season. How can you ever get ahead if you have to fear that your defence is going to be split open repeatedly even against scrub teams? They are both far too slow and unintelligent. We get destroyed on the counter.

6. We are already 5 points behind the table leaders Napoli after only 3 games AND we have to play against them next week.

7. Allegri has no idea how to handle this.

The problem is our bench is either made up of young-unexperienced players or useless players. The defence problem is huge; I am really hoping that Vergara steps up like what Varane did so that we at least have a decent back/starter defender.

The way Zaccardo got dominated for the first goal was bad enough and then the second one was one of the most textbook through balls you will ever see combined with some of the worst defending. It was just simple things like ball watching and failure to mark-up runners. This is not Messi we're talking about, it's Cerci. He was the only possible target for that pass and nobody tracked him.

The other thing that annoys me is the ridiculously high line that we were playing. YOU CANNOT PLAY A HIGH LINE WITH SLOW DEFENDERS. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit.

so not looking forward to this tie.. Hope the likes of Balo and Kaka can step up and bail us in this tie.. I'm already envisioning a really poor midfield display plus we will most likely stick with the same crap defense as yesterday

I'd blame our current predicament on our poor mercato and I blame allegri more than I blame Galliani.. It was clear to even a blind man that we needed reinforcements in midfield and defense but what does Allegri do? He asks for a position that doesn't need fixing to be fixed.. Honestly, I really don't understand why we are obsessed with strikers. What do we have in midfield? just 6 players, 2 of which offer technical ability, 1 quality destroyer, 2 brainless quantities and a virtual unknown in Cristante who has shown promise with the Primavera but hasn't been given the confidence of Allegri

I wouldn't even go into our defense, we have arguably the worst CB pair of all the big teams in europe and who do we have as back up, Zaccardo? Bonera?.. How do we challenge for honours with such a shit defense and a midfield which lacks depth?

We had our chance to improve the team but we mis-used it and I blame the management( especially allegri) for this

Monty and Poli wont make back for Napoli, according to Mediaset

As if these injuries weren't enough, Kaka also picked up an injury

We have become the laughing stock of Serie A lol

A top 2 finish in our group is going to be hard to claim now, just gotta hope..

Kaka ain't injured.. He just took a lil knock during the game but should be available for Celtic

News floating around has it that Poli's knock is also nothing serious, he might also make the Celtic game

You guys need to stop feeding that goat milk at Milanello to your star Italian players. It is causing injuries galore. Even Kaka is being affected...

Poli just has a bruised thigh. Kaka being injured isn't a surprise its how we left him before he went to Madrid its how he should return I guess. If one of abate or MDS make the Celtic clash we will win if not then we have no hope with our current replacements.
