Premier League - Norwich City vs Chelsea

Both sides achieved favourable results in their Matchday 6 fixtures at the weekend. Norwich bounced back from their disappointing home loss to Aston Villa the week before with a 1-0 victory over Mark Hughes' Stoke at the Britannia via a Jon Howson strike, while Chelsea achieved a good point away at detested London rivals Tottenham through a John Terry header off a Juan Mata free-kick.










The corresponding fixture last year saw a struggling Chelsea side fresh into embattled Rafa Benitez's reign as interim manager travel to a Canaries team who had already defeated Arsenal, Manchester United and Spurs in the Cup at Carrow Road in the months previous, and the stuttering Blues knew all to well a similar fate was surely not beyond them. Nevertheless, the visitors' fears were allayed through a sweet hit from Juan Mata in the 38th minute that put Chelsea ahead on the day and ultimately won them the match.










The injury Fernando Torres sustained in Tuesday night's 4-0 thumping of Steaua Bucharest, which caused the Spaniard to be brought off just over 10 minutes into the match, will definitely rule him out of contention for Sunday's match, José Mourinho revealed after the tie, while Eden Hazard is hoping to be fit after missing the European clash altogether via a knock he incurred in last Saturday's 1-1 draw against Tottenham.

Certainly need a win here. I think Mata, Ramires and Schurrle will certainly start. Probably Eto'o up front too. I actually wouldn't be surprised to see minimal changes from todays game.

If Mata is dropped again I'm just going to .

I doubt he will, he was great again today. I don't think we'll rush Eden back for this game, not after how Mata and Schurrle played today. Oscar is Jose's favourite so he won't be dropped.
