So, today I completed the last exam of my degree. As long as I pass all of my subjects, which I am sure I will, I am officially a geologist.

I am, however, continuing on with my studies next year and am undertaking an honours year which will allow to graduate with a bachelor of science with honours or continue on once more to do a PhD.

I am quite proud of myself right now. Smile

Most bachelors are 3 or 4 years. Mine is 3. But then most people do an honours year.

Takes 4 years of undergraduate work and 4 years in medical school. In between I'm planning on doing a Masters in Public Health since it's related to my undergraduate.

In America it's generally 4 years; 1 extra year because the universities want you to take G.E. (General Education) classes which no one cares about and aren't related to your major Laughing

Ah, I hate unrelated courses, I did a few of them but that was to fill up my timetable, I think it would suck to have to do a year of unrelated courses!

Yeah, MD it is.

A lot of students take GE's during their harder years to boost their GPA Laughing

It means more tuition for universities regardless of what excuse they use for GE's.
