Ramsey can't play deep versus team like Dortmund, gotta play the ball out quick instead of dribbling like him. Rosicky is our best player and Ozil totally invisible.

I've only been able to watch the second half but Koscielny has looked impressive tonight.

We've been all over them for most of this half and now we're losing

I knew it we didn't score and that's the result. Dortmund is way to dangerous with counter attack like that, Sagna was playing too high.

Doesn't even seem like either team was playing at their best, but Dortmund have been a little more willing to take their chances and make them count, it seems.

If only that Cazorla shot that hit the woodwork had curled in ...

why cant our players handle pressure? We looked like the old Arsenal with the millions of passes between Koscielny and Mertesacker. Anytime we're doing that means we're in trouble

Meh it's not the end of the world. Dortmund are CL finalists and we had them on the backfoot for large portions of the game and were 5 inches of wood away from a totally different outcome

Hard to take this defeat. We were the better team for most of the time.

We were the better team. With Walcott and Flamini we would have won without a doubt.

Don't forget Lewandowski delivering the people's elbow to Koscielny and escaping with only a stern chatting to from the ref (and a yellow)

This kinda reminds me of Bayer game last year albeit we're nowhere near as bad, basically we played right into Dortmund trap. 1st goal was ramsey fault and he needs to cut some of his fancy dribble agaist team press well like Dortmund. 2nd goal, classic "Arsenal" goal, we clearly missed Flamini.

ozil struggled in tigh space w/o ramsey help. Our most dangerous players, Santi and Tomas who're dynamic enough to create spqce for themselves,

Sorry guys but I have to disagree. Dortmund outplayed us for at least 60% of the game. We looked lazy out there often. Our midfield got dominated as well


but like Lex said, it's not the end of the world or anything. just a disappointing showing if you ask me

It was more 50-50, they dominated the 1st half, we battered them in the 2nd

tough one to take, had Santis shot gone in. We probably would have won the game.

i think Arsenal played well. and as for Lewandowski he needed a red card for what he did. if that was one of our players thay get a red card for what he did. we will get them back.

As someone here said we fell right into their trap, we were naive in the 2nd half and didn't need to attack as much as we did (pushing fullbacks so high up the pitch). A 1-1 was not a bad result at all, but we wanted to dominate and get the winning goal, what we got was so typical Arsenal 2008-2010. Our strengths are counter attack and we should stick to that unless we're playing scrubs in the league.

Also this is why clean sheets are important for those said they would rather win 4-1, 5-2... you won't always score as much especially against bigger teams.

In the end we lost to a better team, so it's not the end of the world, we have Crystal Palace next and I hope Ramsey is properly rested, didn't look good at all tonight also Arteta was CLASS, Giroud also did very well.
