Star rating is purely for unlocking new stadiums and better cpu players. On the list where you see previous games, you can see your oppositions star level. Plenty of times when we're in a new club we play 4* teams and such

It's all about the division and matchmaking region

I've downloaded games that require passes through PSN a bunch of times, they always come with it.

It used to be 5 different consoles could have 1 dlc. I used to sell COD map packs to my friends for a discount back then so they'd save a couple quid and i'd make a few quid. Was a win-win

"Game Sharing" is nothing more than having access on another console to your download history..online passes included. Shouldn't be an issue there.

The 10.99 deal doesn't end until 2nd of January so you could always get a card in town before then or something.
