He has always had potential, but has been inconsistent. Hopefully he can get consistent game time as a striker and develop into the player he is capable of.

I'll be lying if I said I'll miss him, but I hope he does well at Dortmund. There just isn't enough room in the squad for him anymore and he's miles behind van Persie.

Plus it looks like we're getting close to £10,000,000 for him. Not a bad deal at all.

I'll admit...I slagged off on him relentlessly because of his poor finishing....but I do like him as a player.

Just needs to add consistency and accuracy to his game.

He's not that bad. He's just lacking in confidence which to a striker is everything.

He'll do good at BvB. If Klopp seems something in him then it's the real deal, like Wenger did. He's just not needed when we have Chamakh.
