Re: Not Worthy of a Thread Mk. II
Paul Pogba has accused former club Manchester United of "disrespect", claiming he was made to train alone during the contract dispute that preceded his move to Juventus.
The 21-year-old French midfielder left United in July 2012 after failing to agree a new deal.
"They left me out because they said I wanted to leave," he told Football Focus on BBC World News.
"That is disrespect. Maybe they didn't think they were making a mistake."
Pogba himself was accused of a lack of respect when he left United, with then-manager Sir Alex Ferguson telling MUTV he was "quite happy" to see the player leave.
"I don't think he showed us any respect at all," Ferguson added.
Pogba made just seven substitute appearances for United and insists his move was motivated by a desire for more playing time rather than money.
"Manchester United is a big club but you have to think about yourself," Pogba added.
"You have to play. The coach told me there would be space to play, but I wasn't playing. I was training alone for one week."
Juventus won Serie A in Pogba's first season with the club and are on the brink of defending the title.
Pogba has been a key part of their success, scoring 12 goals in 60 league appearances.
His good form has prompted talk of a move back to Manchester, with both United and City rumoured destinations, as well as a £40m switch to French champions Paris St-Germain.
Juventus president Andrea Agnelli said in October that his club would find a big-money offer for Pogba hard to resist.

And old saggy-face Redknapp couldn't even win that league full of mediocre dross.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually agreeing with what Cyberman has said some time ago already. Pogba just cannot seem to shut up about United. Still banging on about them.

He was interviewed and asked a question about his time at the club. I don't see the problem here. It's not like he deliberately courted the media to offer to his views of Man Utd.

Re: Not Worthy of a Thread Mk. II
According to Spanish newspaper, La Vanguardia, the Spanish Tax Authority has begun to target those with the highest incomes in Spain, as a means of finding evidence and charging the individuals with a number of economic crimes, in their attempt to raise money for the staggering Spanish government.
In today’s day in age, the most elite group in Spain are footballers and it is being stated that Iker Casillas has already paid €2 million in back taxes, with Xabi Alonso and David Villa also being investigated.
In regards to Casillas, the difference was due to confusion over how certain income was taxes with a close source stating, “What happened was that there were some adjustments and discrepancies in the interpretation of the rules, but in no way were sanctions handed down and the two sides amicably reached an agreement on the payment.
The Taxi Authority ruled that there was no intention of fraud or to evade tax obligations, which is why Casillas wasn’t formally charged with a crime.

Re: Not Worthy of a Thread Mk. II
Agree about " the Real "
I love the first pic of your sig. That match was amazing and it finished 3-3 . Toulon Tournament 1997. Amazing goal by Roberto Carlos there.
Ronaldo was God and that Italy could seriously to win the World Cup with another manager and not Cesare ffs Maldini Massive NT who could permitt even to not call up Zola ( he won also Cup Winners' Cup with Chelsea than now) for that WC, it was an Italy definitely better than now.
Italian football in gradual decline

It was Tournoi de France Tournament not Toulon. Toulon Tournament is for the youth. Young Del piero scored two goals in that game, and both teams scored an own goal.
You are right about Italia's huge potential in 1998 World cup. It was a great squad packed with world class talents. Pagliuca, Maldini, Canavaro, Nesta, Albertini, Dino Baggio, Roberto Baggio, Del Piero Vieri etc. It wasn't Cesare Maldini's fault that Italia got out in the Quarters though. They were kicked out on penalties vs France after dominating the French for 120 mins. I still shudder in sadness when I remember Luigi Di Biaggio's penalty miss. I strongly believe Italia could have gone all the way had they went past France in the quarter finals.

No indeed France dominated Italy, or at least they played definitely better.
On the other hand Cannavaro and Bergomi were the best players that day. Italy didn't play to football, hardily Italy did it with Cesare Maldini , it just relied on individualities ,expecially thanks to Roberto Baggio much inspired in that WC (while Del Piero was a ghost) . Italy even robbed to Chile in that group .
The only match worthily played was against Camerun ( Di Biagio played a great WC, but he is reminded just for that penalty kick. but probably it's normal)
France won just with penalties kicks , but tbh it was the result most deserved, they were more squad than Italy. I cried that day , but I was 8
