Re: The 2013/14 Calcio Saga: Episode III
Welcome back Palermo . It raped Serie B.
Giuseppe Iachini is Serie B legend.
4 promotions for him from Serie B to Serie A as manager.
Chievo , Brescia, Sampdoria ( it was in desperate conditions before of Iachini, then Atzori was sacked and Sampdoria reached the play off under Iachini and it won the play off against the "basket city" Varese ) , and now Palermo
He was close even to promote Piacenza in 2006/2007, but it was the best Serie B ever, with Juventus , Napoli and Genoa promoted in Serie A and Piacenza finished 4th behind these 3 but before of most rated clubs as Bologna and Brescia

Coppa: Fan shot in Rome
There are reports of serious crowd trouble outside the Coppa Italia Final venue, including Napoli fans attacking police with one man shot.
The match kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT) in Rome.
Fans have been flooding into the city all day, as 30,000 are expected to make the journey from Florence and as many coming up from Naples.
However, there are reports of serious crowd trouble in the Tor di Quinto area of the city, where Napoli fans allegedly tried to break through a security cordon.
According to the Corriere della Sera, hooligans attacked the police under a viaduct and gunfire was heard.
There are claims a 31-year-old man received two gunshot wounds to his arms, but his life is not thought to be at risk.
He was taken to hospital and is likely to undergo surgery, but his condition is not thought to be serious.
News agency Ansa maintains there were two men injured by gunfire - one a Napoli fan hit in the torso and another a police officer struck in the hand.
In a separate incident near Rieti, a group of Fiorentina fans on their way to the game attacked some Napoli supporters at a motorway service station, but three men were treated for minor injuries.
What a shame. !
In this way they prove The Guardian is right.

Da Pianura a Ponticelli, i napoletani non cambierà mai.
This is the usual Coppa Italia finals when faced with provinciale ultras of provinciale clubs.

Fiorentina fans booed it even when Italy played in Firenze in 90's . They feel to be Fiorentini firstly, more than Italiani .
Napoli fans lool always done . even worse. I remember also in Juve-Napoli " we are napoletani , not italiani"
provinciale final

They are from " Granducato di Toscana" although the modern Italian language was born thanks to FiorentinoArquitescu wrote:What next? The Medici rising from the dead and calling themselves Urbini not Italiani?

ffs Italy is not so different from Spain, Spanish is the Latin ppl more similar to Italians for language and culture on the other hand . Italy is an united state just since 19860 while before it's always been divided in more states, so there is too much parochialism
/localism as in Spain
