Because it's a lot of tedious, unnecessary work and would cause the first page of this thread to load so incredibly slowly it probably wouldn't work at all on mobile or slow connections.

Spoilers don't stop the video or picture in question from being loaded when the page opens. They do absolutely nothing for load time. And its funny that the "people" you speak for apparently do not seem to share your need to be served and do not include those you would foist the extra work upon, who also happen to have work and other duties outside of the forum they volunteer their time on.

Well, it would be practical if people would not post pics in Mount Everest sizes as they so often do. It would be nice if they could post a smaller thumbnail and maybe link to the larger versions, if need be.

You misinterpret where Red's concern lies here, Eivindo. He is only looking out for everyone who wants to view this thread and not have to wait minutes for it to load because of having dozens of large images load up.

Per RWO's suggestion, If any member of the Mod/Admin staff have the time to take this on (I currently do not unfortunately) and can do so in such a way that it does not impact the viewing abilities of other forum members, they are indeed free to do so.

Now can we please get back on topic?
