Really been short on time but ever since I saw the trailers I've been wanting to see these two.
Just came home from The Equalizer, good action movie with a visual style that was great at times, but really went too far. Entertaining enough to not feel like the time was wasted, which was what I was going in expecting.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
There's a "Tetris" movie in the works.

“It’s a very big, epic sci-fi movie,” Threshold’s CEO Larry Kasanoff tells Speakeasy exclusively. “This isn’t a movie with a bunch of lines running around the page. We’re not giving feet to the geometric shapes.”
Kasanoff’s best known for adapting the “Mortal Kombat” games to the big screen – 1995’s “Mortal Kombat” grossed $70 million according to Boxoffice Mojo, with the 1997 sequel, “Mortal Kombat: Annihilation,” grossing $35 million. For Threshold, they’re hoping to build off the brand’s notoriety and legacy.

Will probably see the Maze Runner this weekend with some friends. I know almost nothing about it and I'm totally ok with that at this point.

I like the dystopian setting in the trailers which is why it has caught my attention.

How I hate the release dates of the great non blockbuster movies are at least like 3 weeks after the american, while we get the blockbusters before here in Denmark. Can't wait 3 weeks to watch Gone Girl ffs

Gone Girl is definitely on my list of movies to watch when I get some time. It's already in theaters here so maybe I'll snick out and see it this weekend. Fantastic review it got.

The trailer looks great, but let's not overdo it, ok. I hope this film ends up being more than just the sum of its parts... many don't.

The real story of Alan Turing is incredible. I'm not sure why they called this "The Imitation Game" though.

Forza all I said was that The Big Lebowski is the best comedy of all time and that Inherent Vice (from what I've seen from the trailer and read online) is that it has that feel towards the Big Lebowski.

I just don't want to over-hype Inherent Vice. I really want it to be good.

OH MY EFFING LORD GONE GIRL IS LEGIT
Rosemary Pike Oscar nomination is guaranteed. Shit she killed it on a different level. This was like a Cate Blanchett in the Aviator sort of performance. HOLY SHIT, such an extraordinary picture.
9.5/10 MUST SEE

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
PTA's Inherent vice Its gonna be something. and yes, as Forza said, not over-hyping, laying low.
By the way I have read Interstellar's script. It was available online for a few days after which they removed it. So in reference to that I just want to say, keep your expectations grounded. Dont expect an Inception. i.e to get blown away and all. Its much more emotional, classy and subtle (Pre- The Dark Knight days ). Nolan is actually aiming that Oscar which has for all these years eluded him, its pretty evident from the script. Also watch out for McConaughey's performance.

Expected the reviews to be better. But if you love it, I think I will. You're one of the few that loved my Disconnect recognition (I think)

Watched It too and was suprised alot of people brought their dates to this movie, IMO this is no way a date movie, unless you want a date like Rosemary
Pike killed it with her psycho acting
Affleck was amazing too, his performance in my view was perfect, he never upstaged Pike like many big actors would do, and you always knew who the lead was
And movie had a lot of comedic parts for the type of movie it is, and most of the comedic parts were amazing
and that ending
