For those of you who missed it, Roger beat Djokovic in straight sets dispatching him with relative ease. He absoluty dominated the tournament.

Will be seeded number 2 in US Open. Murray will be 3rd.

Draw is out.

Federer and Murray are on the same side of the draw. Also Wawrinka, Berdych, Simon, and Gasquet on this side as well.

Djokovic gets Nadal, Nishikori, Ferrer, Raonic, Tsonga and defending champion Cilic on his side of the draw.

First round Murray gets Kyrgios Laughing

Everything points to another Djokovic - Federer final.

We'll see. Upsets usually happen very often in the US Open. Federer hasn't made it to a final since 2009 which he lost to Del Potro. And Djokovic has only ever won the competition once.

Could be we see Wawrinka repeat his Australian Open and Roland Garros performances, that would make him totally unstoppable. And even Nishikori and defending champ Cilic are very scary opponents here.

US Open starts today

Round 1 has some nice matchups.

Nishikori already losing the first set to some unknown fella. Coric-Nadal later on today. Gonna be rooting for the 18 year old.

Murray-Kyrgios match was entertaining but Murray in 4 with relative ease at the end.

Anyway I don't know the brackets. Is Stan on Federer's side? I know Fed - Mur can be a potential semi, and I know Fed was going to face Nadal in the quarters if he came thru, so does that mean Murray could get Stan in the quarters? That would be a great one. bounce

Nadal was on Novak's side of the bracket. So was Nishikori, but they both let everyone down. Novak has a cakewalk to the final. Defending champ Cilic is the only actual threat left. And Tsonga possibly.

But yeah Murray and Wawrinka are a potential quarterfinal mathup. Winner potentially facing Federer.

Djokovic is included in that consecutive straight set streak. Federer destroyed him in Cincinnati on hard court last week.

But yeah Djokovic is definitely going to be up for the challenge here if they face off.

That was tough but Roger destroyed him on tie breaks. Isner's serve is unbelievable.

Yeah Stan scares me honestly more than anyone after Djokovic. Not even Djokovic can beat him when he's playing out of his mind as we saw in Roland Garros. Anderson is playing really well so hopefully he can knock Stan out.

I actually think Gasquet is a better all around than Berdych and has more to his arsenal of shots and possibly the best backhand in the game. Berdych is more consistent but I think Federer should be good here.

I'm hoping Cilic gets knocked out by Tsonga. I don't think Roger can beat Cilic if he gets to the final. Has a better shot against Djokovic imo.

Serena beating her sister and now has a clear path to the final. Vinci doesn't stand a chance against her in the semi.

Hopefully she wins the calendar slam. That would solidify her argument as the GOAT even further. Considering her main contenders for the GOAT, Steffi Graf and Margaret Court have both done the calendar gram slam. That's probably the biggest argument against Navratilova in the GOAT argument that she didn't win calendar slam and the other two did.

Yeah of course.

I just meant that she has been so dominant the last 2-3 years after that mini mid-career blip. I honestly didn't think she would come back and dominate the game like this. It has been impressive and she has fought adversity/criticism her whole career, add in that she genuinely is one of the all-tinme GOATS - so I for one honestly think she deserves a calendar slam just because of that.
