The first two are potentially true - I wouldn't describe Cesc as "world class" - but not the third. Attempts to play Cesc as a CM have often ended in failure for Barcelona, as his style of play is far too direct for him to be effective there now. He's played up front a few times but to mixed success and you certainly wouldn't count on him to play there consistently. His best and only position now is an AM and, well, we've already got one who's just as good, if not better.

I agree, I am a big Cesc fan. Deep down I know we dont need him really, but what I worry about is Injuries that keep us from competing. Imagine we had a player as quality of Cesc, while we had Ramsey, Ozil, Jack, Walcott out. I think we could have been still in fight for the title.

Cesc, Ozil and Cazorla won't work... at all. You'll need to sell Cazorla to bring Cesc back. The difference in quality is not big enough to go through all the trouble.

If i'm Arsenal, i focus on other things lol.

I'm not gonna bother explaining why Cesc would be pointless as i did that last summer.

I agree Cesc is not what we need. But if we get him back then I'd welcome him with open arms, and no, getting him back won't be anything near futile. Cesc is class.

Ignoring that that sounds utterly absurd, I'd really like for us to sign Alexis Sanchez.

Alves probably wants a big contract like Nick said. He is in his post prime years and wants to retire with a contract only City/Monaco/PSG could offer.

Sanchez though. I'd love to have him at Arsenal. He is a very hard worker, decent finisher and his runs behind are exactly what we need.

You can't seriously expect to pay 150k+ p/w for a soon-to-turn-30 RB, no matter how good.

And you can't celebrate 8 years of dedication if they culminate with a money-oriented decision to join a title rival.

Don't see how this is Arsenal's fault.
