The Rise of the Tyrant Messi Empty Messi the mysterious

Post by jibers Sun Sep 29, 2013 6:26 pm

In the book 'El Misterio de Messi' ('The Mystery of Messi), Journalists Sebastián Fest and Alexandre Juillard uncover the more surreptitious side of the Argentine ace. The first chapter, called 'El Shock', reveals how Messi pulled strings in the background to get Ibrahimovic out of the side. A translated extract from the book is found below.

In autumn of 2009, Messi decided to send an SMS to Pep Guardiola. The words of said message vary slightly depending on who tells the story, although they all agree on its spirit: "Fine, I see that I'm no longer important for the team, so…".

Lionel Messi was unsettled and edgy. And it was Pep Guardiola, as always, who was on the receiving end. The appearance of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a move that Guardiola had forced through, was bad news for him. Messi only felt it at the beginning, but it was confirmed later.

The text message Messi sent at the start of the 2009-10 season set warning lights flashing for his coach, although he was also helped by the fact that the Swede lost his patience quickly and became the group rebel, according to those who knew what was going on in the club dressing room. "That's how I know to play and that's how I'm going to play, as a centre forward", he told the manager, opening up a gap between the two that would never be bridged.

The following season, Ibra left Barça. Had Messi once more won through with his silence?

It doesn't really come as a shock. I think everyone with a brain already knew Messi was behind getting Ibra out and behind Pep losing his patience and leaving also.

To this day, I wonder how they even got that sms. Did they steal Guardiola's phone? Or maybe they are just talking crap? I bet that they are talking crap.

Oh and Ibra in his book said that Messi was like a schoolboy. So, seeing as this isn't what a schoolboy would do, either Ibra is lying or the journalist is..

McAgger wrote:It doesn't really come as a shock. I think everyone with a brain already knew Messi was behind getting Ibra out and behind Pep losing his patience and leaving also.
Anyone with half a brain would know that this is complete BS. Like I said before, if this was true then why doesn't Ibra hate Messi? Infact, Ibra has only said nice things about Messi since he left Barca. And as we all know, Ibra is a guy who isn't afraid to say what he really thinks. He couldn't care less about being politically correct. Someone has done him wrong, you bet your ass that he would say what he really thinks about that guy. And yet, Ibra likes Messi(his own words).

Want an example? Take Guardiola. The only person that Ibra blames his barca exit is Guardiola, not Messi, only Guardiola..

Oh and, Guardiola left because of Rosell. Infact Guardiola had a pretty good relationship with Messi. He even said that Messi was a good person a couple of months ago.

This is a pretty good description of Messi's and Guardiola's relationship

Ibra voted Messi for ballon dor after he left barca and always says good things about him.

Some of his quotes after he left Barca:

"Ronaldo is lucky to get first row tickets to see messi winning ballon dors"

"Messi is naturally talented he is the best player"

"Best player in the world deserves to play in center"

Somes of Guardiola's quotes
"If there was no Messi i would coach in second division"

"Messi is the best ever"

Messi is loved among his team mates and group. It he shows he is a good person. If you want to define a person first check his relationships among his friends.because they know him better than anyone

Madrid media tries to put Messi in Ronaldo's bracket. But look how many old team mates hates him. Some quotes.
Rooney "Messi is best ever"
Beckham "Messi is best"
Raul "I never seen a man who runs with ball so closely to his feet at full speed. He is the best"
Guti "Messi is more complete than ronaldo he can play many positions.he is best"
Robben calls Messi the best.
Casillas votes for Messi in ballon dor
Mourinho calls him "fake ronaldo"

See such things never happened with Messi. All his old team mates love him and praise him. So Messi is not as bad person as Ronaldo. People (team-mates) who know them better than anyone say so

"Mr. Faus is a person that doesn't know anything about football and wants to manage Barcelona as a company, and it isn't a company, Barcelona is one of the most important teams in the world, and it deserves to be represented by the best directors too. Also, neither me or my people have asked for a new contract, and he knows that very well."

Context please.

He said that because Javier Faus, Barça's financial VP, when asked about a possible renovation of Messi's contract, replied: "this gentlemen (Messi) renewed his contract 6 months ago, I don't see any reason to sign a new one".

The term "this gentleman" (un señor)is slighlty derogatory in spanish when mentioning to someone who is one of your own.

i'll take the word of javier faus over that of a tax fraud.

but can you really blame messi ? now that he's paying taxes, it's only natural that he'd want a pay rise .

Mehssi wrote:Faus had said that he saw no reason why Messi, who he referred to in seemingly dismissive terms as "that señor", should get a pay rise.

Talking to RAC1 radio from Argentina where he is undergoing rehabilitation from a hamstring injury, Messi responded directly.

"Barcelona is the best club in the world and should be represented by the best board members too," Messi said. "Señor Faus is someone who doesn't know anything about football and wants to manage Barcelona like a business, which it is not.

"Besides, I would remind him that neither I nor anyone from my camp has asked for any wage increase and he knows that very well.
Lmao things must be really bad between them to take this publicly. Messi is going to get Faus fired.

Like I said before, it looks like there is a anti messi campaign going on and I don't understand why and who/what group is doing it. There is so much bullshit going around the past 6 months: refusing friendlies, taxes, drugs, cheating on his wife - all to be proven false. Barca is also taking legal actions against papers who are spreading rumors, I wish messi would do the sam
