Re: New 2014/15 shirts
Nike not willing to match....must be a massive offer from Adidas, honestly don't think warrior has the $$$ to roll with Nike and Adidas. So if Nike isn't matching it, Adidas it will be in my eyes

Re: New 2014/15 shirts
Nike would be crazy to lose us. Can't see it happening. That would mean they'll only have City and QPR wearing their shirts in the most watched league in the world.
Nike are playing hardball right now, the negotiations are still ongoing from what I understand. (I'll try and find the source)
EDIT:

EDIT:
A Nike spokeswoman said talks were ongoing however, saying: 'Manchester United are a great club and we remain in discussions with them.

^It's confirmed. Nike announced that they're not renewing with us
Financial Times Journo:
It was reported we wanted £600 mil at the start. Looks like they got into a bidding war and the price has gone up by £150 mil if true.
Sky News Newsdesk @SkyNewsBreak
PA: #Nike has announced it will not renew its kit deal with #MUFC at the end of next season
Nike pulls out of Man U kit contract talks: "Terms on offer for a renewed contract did not represent good value for Nike’s shareholders"
Financial Times Journo:
Roger Blitz @rogerblitz
Way is now clear for Adidas to be new ManU kit supplier. Its offer - could be in region of £750m over 10 years

M.E.N. was saying same thing as dailymail
i was thinking same thing now that Arsenal has gone with Puma, thought Nike would be nuts to let us walk away as well.
contradicting reports now i guess

These type of deals are precisely the reason we won't end up like Leeds/Liverpool nearly did. Unless there's a monumental mess up

Wow. Its official then. So long Nike and your horrible, lazy shirt designs.
Adidas United kits? Would absolutely love that. And by the looks of things, looks increasingly likely that that will be the case.

The away one looks bad with the giant Chevy logo. I guess we could use that sponsorship money though.

Re: New 2014/15 shirts
Fantastic deal. Dwarfs what our rivals are getting by some margin.
If Adidas can replicate the quality shirts they made for us in the 80's, I would be more than satisfied.
Oh, thank God it wasn't Warrior. Phew!

Forbes have Liverpool currently valued at £456m.
#MUFC's kit deal alone is worth £750m.

Re: New 2014/15 shirts
I'm assuming those requirements are associated to success on the pitch, so if we make CL, for example, they give us more than £75 mil a year?

I hope they make the stripes yellow, to match our badge. It would go kinda well with the Chevy logo too.

Re: New 2014/15 shirts
Adidas say the expect to make £1.5 billion from sales during the 10 years, it seems strange that Nike pulled out. The only big clubs they have now, are Inter and Barcelona, even Juve is becoming Adidas.
