Firenze wrote:DLC's out in 8 days, still not sure what I'm doing, need to find out if I can use the DLC with my US digital copy or if I have to buy the game again
if it's the latter and my original game save doesn't work I'll probably not bother playing it
Would't buying the DLC from US account be enough?
Wondering when I should buy this. Maybe day 1 but not play it till a bit later since battlefront is out.
Where dat avatar from?

DLC is usually impossible to play without reading a guide in the souls games btw, usually have to jump through hoops, like in dark souls 1 you had to find an item from a specific enemy drop, then travel to a little corner of the world to get transported to the DLC area - and there was 0 in game hints to tell you where to go
so worth reading if you actually want to play the DLC

Re: Bloodborne
literally why
it's fairly straightforward anyway
also saw there are a few new trophies, quite a few new bosses judging by what they are, got a feeling this will be a great DLC expansion
update is out to download now btw, 10GB, adds a bunch of new free content too for everyone

Re: Bloodborne
I can't even remember how to play the game lol
Also will DLC be more difficult than usual considering I am on NG++?

I can't remember how to play either, expecting to get mashed

Re: Bloodborne
DLC sounds great. 15 hours, most challenging bosses of the game, new weapons, new enemy types.
Will get it if I finish MGS 5 and Hearts of Stone.

Re: Bloodborne
don't think it will actually be 15 hrs long tbh, saw a few publications saying that but also others saying 5-10
4 new areas in total and a few bosses, the weapons look really cool tbh
spoiled too much for myself already will smash it tomorrow at some point no doubt
moonlight greatsword is back btw and looks better than ever, From always include that weapon in their games and it was a favorite of mine in both DS1 & DS2, looks amazing in Bloodborne..only it scales with arcane, apparently that was the only stat I didn't bother levelling

Re: Bloodborne
Just smashed from what I hear is the hardest boss in the DLC. Second attempt. Ran out of vials when I had him down to 1/20th and just went YOLO evading all of his attacks. Easily a top 5 boss fight across the entire souls franchise. Dat music GOAT.

Re: Bloodborne
nah I always maintained it was a 9.5/10 while TW3 was a 10/10
man the weapons in the DLC are insane, think I've found a favorite but there's only one blood rock to get it to +10 so I'm waiting until I've found them all before upgrading

Re: Bloodborne
at the start of the final area, I think 7.5-10 hrs is an accurate figure tbh, I think I've played around 7.
overall I've enjoyed it so far, great new weapons - although it sucks that I won't get to use them for that long since I don't plan on playing after I finish up the DLC. couple of great bossfights, couple of less than great ones that are just re-skins, the locations have been decent so far though. Really like this last area and the the second to last bossfight area.

I did not touch the game after finishing it. ffs does this mean I have to go all the way to Vicar Amelia again in NG+ to play the DLC?
