that's the thing. You try a 1-2 thinking about your run, but you don't think how the receiver will cope with it. It's not easy to through ball after a 1-2 because they all swarm straight after you.

Yeh, that's the downside to it. It's what I was on about a few days ago. Someone has the ball deep, 3 people make a run, there's no passing option and you end up losing it.

Thing is though my runs are super effective against a highline. Majority of the time the through balls will go through and it'll result in a 1v1.

Just need to find a way to support the person with the ball when I make runs.

90% of your passes are 1-2's. Try to decrease it please. And PLEASE, don't 1-2 with a damn cpu. It'll end up losing it if there's players nearby.

Also try find new tricks. The first few times you cut in, the opponent will know what you'll do next time. Try the second or third time to do something else and surprise the opponent.

1-2 as in the L1 and X pass where I pass and automatically make a run? So basically instead of running away, I need to be closer to the CPU as a passing option?

Imo I do try and go for a regular X pass, but when it was laggy, 90% of the time I lost the ball with the X pass. The 1-2 pass guaranteed I wouldn't lose the ball. But now that the lag's fixed, the regular passing should work.

Also my controllers messed ffs. Can't pull off any skill moves. R2 button gets stuck after holding it down.
