Got an immediate suspension... the length of the suspension will be decided after a hearing on Sept 18. He can't play or participate in practices until then.

In France, the max suspension if you injure a player and that player is out for 8 days or less.... is 1 year. If a player is injured for more than 8 days... is 2 years. Since Motta seems to be available for the game this weekend, the max is probably 1 year and there's a high likelihood he gets that.

Bastia are already looking to sign another scrub: Hoarau.
