Actually I thought Kagawa was pretty good, everytime I saw him play for Utd. They just didn't have a spot for him, which really is their loss.

Not really. He was horrible as lb at first but he improved and when he became ajax poty he was still a left back. Other part of course is true. His best position for us was dm and as you said he became eredivisie poty playing that position.

So, still 4 players in 11 years in hardly an obsession. And only one of the players were bought by Perez. The obsession is the only reason to justify the Heinze buy, but then again... The things Calderon did as president is hard to find a believable reason for.
