Not sure you can consider elpaie as serious with the whore they have as main madrid writer tbh.

And Marca, with both Inda and Jose felix dias working for them now (used to do all of elconfidencial stuff) are now n1 for madrid transfer stories

I think Marca are more likely to get a scoop first, but El Pais would only report it if they're 90% sure it's going to happen whereas Marca only needs a 25% basis. So they're more credible.

Generally the most reliable sources aren't even worth listing, because they don't 'call' shit they only post stuff that's pretty much official. Doesn't even qualify as a rumour

Also I'd split the Italian papers, with Gazzetta and Corrierre dello Sport on the same level as Marca, Sport etc and Tuttosport occupying a special spot in hell.

Marca is back to being reliable to a good extent because they bought the best reporters from El Confidencial over the summer...  El Confidencial knows nothing now lol. Just need to make sure that you read the articles written by those reporters.

As Italian , the most credible are Sky ( Di Marzio ) and Gazzetta dello Sport.
Sky Italy / Di Marzio is the most reliable source by a mile ...
Gazzetta is enough legit ..  besides if it is compared to others newspapers

Tuttosport and Corriere dello Sport are really garbage sources

Alessio Cerci is holding up the swap deal with Fernando Torres to Atletico Madrid as he’d prefer Inter to Milan.

Milan Channel – the official television station of the San Siro side – announced on Christmas Eve that there were “advanced negotiations” for the straight swap of loans.

Cerci would come to Serie A for 18 months and Torres see out the remaining 18 months of his loan deal from Chelsea with Atleti instead of Milan.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Cerci’s personal demands are the only things delaying this move becoming official.

As and Marca both insist there is “total agreement” between Atletico Madrid and Torres, who will return to his first club.

However, Cerci had his heart set on joining Inter after Roberto Mancini publicly confirmed he was a transfer target.

More importantly, Inter would guarantee a mandatory buy-out clause at the end of the season, giving Cerci a permanent switch.

It is now suggested in Spanish media that Atletico Madrid gave ex-Torino winger Cerci a very stark warning: accept the Milan move or spend the next six months in the stands.

Atleti and Milan are also furious and threatening to report Inter to FIFA for contacting Cerci directly.

Obviously "tapping up" happens, but that's pretty blatant from Mancini and Inter.

well, Cerci flopped at Atletico. he is an average player who was expecting to come into a team that's top 3 in europe and have an impact right away Laughing Simeone is a tough coach, it takes time to adjust to what he wants and Greaseman is one example.

Now he is throwing an issy fit to go. Not patetico's fault imo

Isnt Cerci a striker?? Cant remember the last time I saw him as one. Simeone always uses him on the wing having him put in crosses when he should be on the end of them

He's a winger who can also play as SS. Would be competing with Greaseman.

Don't really get what Atleti are doing here at all. They like Cerci enough to spend 16m on him and then they decide to sell him after only 4 months? scratch

Not Cerci's fault really, he never said he was some sort of GOAT player he's a decent forward who puts ina good shift, has a good left foot on him and can deliver a good cross. He's not getting a lot of chances, and Madrid knew the type of player he was obviously before spending a lot on him

It's not even that he is playing badly. When he plays, he plays well or very good, but he just hasn't played much at all. I can only assume this means something is going on in the dressing room...
