We've been pretty lucky with the Luiz, Mata and Lukaku sales. We clearly got overpaid, I think that we would've sold them too if they offered us 1/2 or 2/3 of the price we actually sold them. I don't think that selling players that weren't key players or even wanted for more than what they're worth is something repeatable.

But anyway, we already fixed the key areas needed that we were lacking since our Carlo's double season with Joe Cole, Ballack, Deco, Carvalho's departures for at least the next 5 years. A long-term replacement for JT, replacement for Didier, quality midfielders, creative and young attacking midfielders.

Even if we could, we don't have the same big holes in the team have absolutely no need to spend huge the way we did in those years, we just need to do the occasional buy to fix minor issues.

Exactly, if all things go well, we may need a new back up GK, a new Fullback, maybe a CM and maybe a back up CF.
