The Ex's thread Empty The Ex's thread

Post by Onions Mon Dec 08, 2014 11:20 am

I did a rough search for a similar thread throughout GL, but couldn't find one. If there does happen to be one, feel free to delete this and direct me to the original.

Anyway I was doodling around on my computer for a second, checking out the news on spurs, when something on Hamburg came up and I remembered Holtby had gone there on loan, now to what I assume a permanent move. this made me curious to know how he'd be fairing in Germany.

I typed his name into google and what came was a bunch of German websites that wasn't translated. So I came here to originally ask in the Bundesliga thread, but thought some people might be in the same position as me wanting to know how players that had moved on are going

So basically after all the rambling above, feel free to post one of your ex players below to find out how they are doing at a different team.

Also if you didn't quite gather from above, I want to know how Lewis Holtby is doing.

lol

sadly i don't know how Holtby is doing at Hamburg , even though judging by how Hamburg is doing i wouldn't think he's been doing any better either. But w8 for the Bundesliga encyclopedia that is Rwo , she will confirm .

If anyone knows , i would like to know how Pazzini is doing at Burnley. He didn't get there yet , i just want to miss him already . Hope he's doing well .

You called?

Well, the HSV is currently trying hard to get back on track, and they actually managed to win against Mainz yesterday. Lewis Holtby played the full 90 minutes yesterday and of course he still has room to improve, but I think things will gradually lighten up for him, too.

I think every Liverpool fan has a soft spot for Dirk Kuyt. I believe he's on the last year of his contract af Fenerbache. Apparently he's got 20 goals in 73 Super League appearances, so that's pretty good.

Dirk Kuyt is an absolute legend and one that I find myself usually searching on and seeing how he's done.

I still watch Agger. Have caught 3 Brondby games since he's gone there Laughing

Mature a bit since he left but overall the same. He's like Honda with a little more talent but without the consistency, it seems.

It was so strange to watch him in pitch for last minutes.

marquinhos is doing good, played more than any other defender in psg and in his age its more than good enough

Lamela is struggling with spurs, him and eriksen both prefer central position but they cant use two n.10

benatia is doing alright for bayern, par his red card mind you that goes to his mission in life

borini should have stayed at sunderland, got greedy and he is doing a good job warming the bench

dodo is showing why we sold him

osvaldo is busy getting pissed of at his teammates, next manager? idk

@RWO

But so Walter Samuel is not a starter for Basel? I am a bit surprised, he was enough legit last year when he played ( although not many times because old and injury prone) , so I didn' t think he could have problems in Switzerland

Well, Fabian Schär and Marek Suchy are more convincing than Welter Samuel, and he *is* not the youngest anymore. IIRC, he was mainly signed as Ivan Ivanov tore his ACL and will be out till April 2015.
