if I could ask Rodgers one question it would be this. in you honest opinion brendon do you think this team that you spent all that money on will chalange for titles and champions lge like you said thay would. what would barca do to a team like villa. to chalange at the top now you need to get a world class proven manager and buy 7-8 world class players.

Aston Villa were fantastic. Dominated the game from start to finish. Benteke, Garaesh and Delph were immense.

Looked like the team in Claret were the ones who spent 120mill last summer.

Liverpool signed some good players for good money. the likes of city Chelsea and man u signed world class players for world class money.

since fergie left you have spent far more than 150mil mate. anyway its all well and good saying Liverpool spent over a 100mil. but we sold close to 80mil worth of talent.
