Decent article, didn't really teach us anything new. We know that Enrique is very demanding, both physically and mentally. For that reason, we know players like Perrotta will be vital, while players like Menez would struggle.

One thing i worry about is the evident difference in styles between La Liga and Serie A. In Serie A, lower-league teams tend to sit back and play on the counter, in contrast to a more offensive-minded La Liga. Overloading the attack against the likes of Cesena could end up being suicidal since they could cover up and make one quick but deadly counter. If we could adapt to play a more patient game as well, then I think we'll be good to go.

PS- Wasn't it DiBenedetto who said "Rome wasn't built in a day", not Enrique?

No,I think it was Enrique who said it or maybe they both did

i am not sure either, but one thing both said was that the project ''will take time''...i like these words, because this shows the owner is not like the ones of Manchester City and Chelsea who expects instant succes. You can't buy instant succes in football, ask Man C, and CHelsea. So i am glad this mindset that the new people have.

you guys are lucky dogs... i really do believe that serie a needs to change...though i am a rossoneri still i love totti and de rossi...de beneditto has taken the right step by hiring enrique... in my country (Bangladesh)no one wants to watch serie a coz they think it's too boring... hope that Roma can change the trend

LUIS ENRIQUE - His full name is Luis Enrique Martinez Garcia, was born in Gijon on May 8th, 1970 and it was in Gijon where he made his first steps in professional football, scoring 14 goals in La Liga at just twenty years of age. IVAN DE LA PENA - Born on May 6, 1976 in Santander, Spain. A familiar face to Italian football, having played for Lazio during the 1998-1999 and 2001-2002 seasons before joining Espanyol where, in 2011, he hung up his boots. He also played for Barcelona and Marseille. He will serve as Enrique's technical assistant with Roma.

MORENO GOLZALEZ ROBERT- The youngest man in the history of Catalonia to receive a coaching license, at just 24 years of age. Born in Barcelona on September 10, 1977. He collects a significant experience in his native town, holding a technical role with the team. During his career, he has been responsible for youth development and scouting, while with Roma he will be Luis Enrique's assistant coach.

ANTONIO LLORENTE - Born in Valladolid, he is the oldest of Enrique's collaborators, as he was born on November 27, 1963. He has a past in professional sports: e was a basketball player for Real Madrid from 1982 to 2002. Today he deals with the mental aspect of squads; he will in fact be the club's mental coach.

POL CABANELLAS RAFAEL - The new athletic trainer is the youngest of the group at only 24 years of age. He was born in Campanet, Majorca, on January 13th, 1987 and was a sport researcher in a joint project between the Universities of Barcelona, ​​Vienna and Cologne. Great to see. The players looked a bit confused in that first video, but as Perrotta said, it's at a stage of curiosity now so that's natural.

This is great stuff though....I'm expecting to come out fast and furious and hit the ground running on Matchday 1.
