Radio Marca has announced that Dani Alves already has a new team for the next season. The Barcelona full back has an agreement with PSG, with whom he will sign for 3 seasons at 9 million before taxes per season.

The Brazilian has signed his contract a few days ago. Alves took advantage of the 2 days that Luis Enrique awarded him after the win against Rayo and traveled to Paris to seal the deal.

This way, Alves, who still has 6 months of contract with Barca, will leave Barcelona after 7 years. In Paris he will play along fellow Brazilians David Luiz, Marquinhos, Maxwell and Thiago Silva.

They seriously are gonna suffer defensively if they think Alves, Lulz, Maxwell and post-prime Silva is the answer to their problems.

Seriously though I thought that guy they got was suppose to be a hot prospect...Serge Aurer or whatever his name is. Thought they would just rotate him and Van deWiel until Serge was ready. Unless they plan to off load Van deWiel and use Alves until Serge is ready

So I ran the numbers and 9m gross is 4m after taxes, or 2.8m pounds. I'm kinda surprised he could not get a better deal.

Not that I give a rat's ass about this transfer (if it happens), but it usually isn't a good idea to buy 30+ year-old players from top clubs where they've already achieved everything. At least half the time their motivation won't be quite the same and they end up being disappointing.
