This is a good result for Serie A...not really for Napoli
Shows teams are more competitive than given credit for
Can't wait to see Capri in Serie A

Save this wait lol Carpi to be new Novara and parking the bus every match , nothing to do with Sarri gamestyle.
It has not to do with the league who Juve won walking , it has to do with Napoli , this is the reason why they can't be rated as reliable competitor for title , they bottle so many matches , even against us passed from 2-0 to 2-2 in last 20 minutes and wasted points against small teams . Not reliable in long period , while of course the Europe is another story with knock out matches and Napoli is legit even in most big matches league . Consistency is their problem.

Next Years CL is going to be unreal with

Us winning the league and getting automatic pot 1 qualification

Roma finishing in the last automatic spot

Us finishing 3rd and getting in via a qualifying round

Then when WE win the EL we'll be practically in the CL too

Great stuff.

My team of the season, twelve man bench.

Buffon
Darmian---Bonucci--Glik---Rui
Marchisio---Biglia---Pogba
Tevez---Felipe Anderson
Higuain

Diego Lopez, Romagnoli, Rugani, Antonelli, Parolo, David Lopez, Valdifiori, Allan, Pirlo, Dybala, Eder, Gabbiadini

I can understand those who disagree with my inclusion of Lopez, I thought he deserved some credit for standing tall under siege this season though. I think you've selected a good team overall S, though I personally feel Callejon's dry spell went for far too long to include him despite a great start and his recent form as he offered little in between. At least when Higuain has struggled in front of goal for small periods he's continued to contribute to the attack through his general play, where someone like Icardi disappears altogether when out of form.

Bidone d'Oro: Bergessio.

Edit: Honourable mention to Salah and Brozovic who I excluded as they only arrived in January. One might also easily include Vazquez ahead of Gabbiadini. I'd have included the former if he didn't hit the post so damn much. Laughing

No Bruno Peres love? Thought he's been one of the best full-backs in the league tbh.

I will make my XI at the end of the season, but Florenzi is already a lock for me.

He originally made my twelve man bench but I kicked him out at the last minute to make space for another midfielder. He probably deserves Antonelli's spot. Luca was a truly powerful force down the left at Genoa in the first six months but any exposure to our team brings players crashing back down to earth. Laughing

Florenzi was on my shortlist but I wasn't sure who to kick out because it's hard to place him, he's played absolutely everywhere on the pitch. I've a plethora of anchors so in a real squad I'd lose one of them to include him. Candreva's been similarly hard done by.

Dost's team is clearly team of the year with ES team being a distant second.

so nobody dared putting Toni in their best 11 despite being the second top scorer in  the league while playing in a team outside of the top 10 . Proud

maybe you guys  know it's  a bad look for the league ? hmm :coffee:

Guys... Seriously? Dybala...? He did almost nothing in the second half of the season! would
Mine is closest to SES, only players I would change are: Dybala. Icardi in, Dybala out. Gabbiadini IN, Allan out (or Parolo)... Maybe Rugani in for De Vrij or even in the bench?

But pretty puch, the players you mentioned, even on the benched, did well. Naingollan deserves lots of praise...

yeah , infact I don't believe Juve will replace Dybala with Tevez if Tevez will leave Juve this year ( imo he won't do it, but it will be only in 2016 ) . Juve walked this year but I think Tevez had a Ibrahimovic-esque season tbh , much more than last year, this year Juve depends on Tevez more than last year imo ,  Conte has a " socialist" gamestyle while  Allegri's teams depend  - more than Conte  - on a CF  and infact the  CF  under Allegri  score always many goals   because  the team is  exactly focused on him.
The rare times Tevez didn't play this year Juve looked like half potential lost except that Firoentina - Juve Coppa Italia imo
POTY 2015 with Anderson distant second.

El Apache has been incredible this season. He is so good that despite making a new Italian team on Fifa ultimate team, I had to bring him in from my previous Argentinian squad.

I agree with your assessment on Allegri Robes. Morata's rise has also a lot to do with how Allegri prioritise the forward in his system. And a reason why Juve always play bad when Llorente starts.

I like Dybala a lot though. He is a creative forward who has done very well playing in an average team. His goals + assists record is very good. I do think he is good enough for Juve. but if Tevez leaves this season then Juve should bring in two forwards after selling Llorente as well.

Dybala + someone good at holding the ball, Morata should be fine.

PS: Pirlo made the goal in that above video. Great escape from pressure to start the attack. There is a reason why he starts over DDR in my FUT
