Bartra for Hummels and Rode for Gudogan. Proper downgrade for the club

Julian Weigl usually played next to Ilkay Gündogan. So with Gündogan gone, Dortmund need to add to their CM options.

Cant' imagine those two being the end of the story tbh, especially since Dortmund will have some 70m € to spend still

sahin rofl tbh that team doesn't look like complete shit and will consistently get CL spots in bundi regardless

but it looks like a team that wouldn't make it out of a moderately tough CL group hmm

Most likely/realistic:

Bürki
Piszczek Toprak Sokratis Schmelzer
Weigl Castro
Dembele Götze Reus
Aubameyang

One step forward and so on...

Calling out Dortmund for lacking ambition when the transfer market has just opened is disgusting.
This Bartra and Rode are mostly depth signings.

Still have a team to compete in Europe though. They should have no problems.

They have been good with their player dealings considering their finances and then you have other teams who call themselves the richest ,whose fans celebrate big money signings like trophies , only to get embarassed by weaker teams on the pitch.

I know what id prefer. :coffee:

What kind of players would a team need to make it out of a moderately tough, or let's even say hilariously easy, CL group?

De Gea, Smalling, Mata, Schneiderlin, Martial?

Watzke to Kicker: "We think we are well stocked in central defense." #BVB

Just as I said.
