Was a close contest between Juventus and Lazio but Juventus showed that extra bit of grit and steel towards the crucial run-in and ultimately deserve it more. Tom.

Tom is the only one to know the feeling of being a fan of a champion and second placed team in the same league in the same year

Do you guys think any team can dethrone Juventus next season? I guess most of you will suggest that nothing can be said until at least the transfer window is closed. But I don't think any team are in a position to dethrone Juventus next season.

At the moment? Its tough to tell, maybe Lazio can put up a challenge since Pioli didn't have the best start of the campaign, now that he's got the team together, they could prove to be a threat. However, Juve are still a cut above the rest.

I guess you are referring to the fall of Milan Twins. But that didn't happen in a year, though in a quite surprising short time. A team can fall in a short time, but a team can't rise to be a Champion in an year.DeviAngel wrote:iftikhar wrote:Do you guys think any team can dethrone Juventus next season? I'm quite ignorant about Italian League, but I just can't see any team replacing Juventus next year. Inter is in a rebuilding process and their squad isn't as strong as Juventus. Milan is even behind. Roma, Lazio and Napoli has a stable squad and decent quality too. But do any of them has the steel to displace Juventus??? If they had, Roma and Napoli should have done far, far better then they have done this season.

The same was said about Conte's Juve in the first year. Look at Milan getting all those money from the Chinese investor.
I've always been afraid from this quotes from Phillip Of Macedonia

Can't see anyone else winning the title but Juve next season again. But I think the competition will be closer.
What interesting now is to see how Allegri improves the squad in his own image.

Let's see who Milan will get they have ALOT of dead wood to get rid of however. If inter can get Yaya Toure and keep ahold of kovacic, icardi and all the young guns i expect them to finish top 3. could be Juve,Inter,Milan top 3 next year. Lazio will have champions league distraction to deal with and napoli are too inconsistent meanwhile roma ruined themselves with some horrible buys getting Doumbia was just plain stupid

This is where as a Juve fan we will see just how much ambition this club actually has. Now we have a much greater international appeal and respectability compared to last season and the seasons past plus a lot more money we should have no excuses to bring in our transfer targets or get some excellent up and coming talents in. hopefully we don't do a dortmund or arsenal and sell our best players for big fees, replace them and have a never ending supermarket mentality instead of building the foundation on world class players or talents
