Good games lads. Easily the best session I've played in since my comeback. 5-2-1-2 works great with me as the shuttler and Tom as the B2B who links up the midfield with the attack. We were like prime Schweini and Javi ffs. Front 3 did great, Mole did well in his comeback, RG and Vers were clinical.

We should continue with the 5-2-1-2.

Amazing session

Beast of a performance Cas. Positioning was 10/10. When your pro gets to 86 region then it will be even better

But that last game, that's the shit I don't understand. When we have 5+ we should do that, notice how their team did NOT randomly run about making stupid runs doing cut backs and scoop turns in obscure places

Pass, move. Pass, move. No running, no rushed crap. Spread out, pass and move.


THEN you get a through ball opportunity.

We should be doing that anyway, far too much dribbling goes on because unless there's a forward pass on practically no one passes.

It's not like we can't do it. We've done pass n move football brilliantly in many matches. We just can't do it consistently and we can only do it when we don't change systems or players.

Look how decent (wouldn't say overly amazing) the link up play and our football was before the final match.

I don't even know why. Maybe we become too restless after conceding and want a quick goal. Sometimes we over dribble a lot though.

But I highly doubt we'll ever become a proper pass n move football tbh. Best we can do is it mix it up.

Takes a different mind set, and you can't just quit and jack it in when it fails miserably because it takes a while getting used to not mindlessly running forward.

Last time we had a disgusting run that's why I said we should make a new club and change the way we play but evidently we didn't. Oh well we've got it good now, but next FIFA we need to just ignore results for a few weeks and get whatever GOAT style of play is relevant next year on clubs.

As good as it can be sometimes we don't pass it backwards or sideways into space anywhere enough to be effective over the duration of a game.

Unless a pass is on forward we dribble until there is lol, the amount of times I have been standing unmarked to the left or right while someone else tries to dribble by the corner flag is amazing.

That's why our attacks break down so easily, you can't maintain pressure by always looking forward you have to sometimes go sideways and back to recycle the attack.

We are too impatient basically, if a pass isn't on we try to force one instead trying to build another opening like most teams do.

But I have been saying this ever since we started playing clubs.

The main reason we'd need to think hard about doing it is because everybody holds sprint, even ANYs running full speed on to passes will only end one way, you do need at least 5 people to do it really cause if it's mostly ANYs they will scuff the ball forward and ruin it

That team had 1 guy as far back ,or further back than the defensive line and another pro close by to kick start it.
