Was really impressed with him in pre season, genuinely think if the main players stay fit they'll win the CL this year.

Vidal and Costa give them something they missed last year.

Well they give them something they would've had without the injuries. They're great but it's not like they would've been lacking had Schweinsteiger and Ribéry been fit. And Robben, and holy shit they had a lot of injuries.

And let's not forget the worst thing for Bayern, who they're really missing: Heynckes!

Also Müller is a f*cking beast and Costas cross was heaven.

I agree. I think Bayern will win CL too, as long as they don't face an injury crisis. Team can play multiple systems and like you said have brought new players who add something different.

That's the point though, if they had them last year the loss of Ribery and Schweignsteiger wouldn't have been so glaring.

plays better passes than most midfielders in advanced areas. Has a great shot as well

He also tackles well, is pacey and got stamina though, so it makes sense to play him as a fullback, it's not like that keeps him away from the action or anything, and pacey players with stamina who can both cross and tackle are incredibly rare.
