yeah 1st ep of preacher was pretty good

i'm aboard for the ride, especially since other than GoT there's nothing to watch now

you watch this final season of Banshee Tom? disgusting to see a GOAT show go out with a fizzle like that, heard they had a macdonalds meal budget for this season compared to the others which is why it sucked

Banshee went a very strange direction for its final season. Budget aside, the plot is not very Banshee like, reminds me of the final season of Dexter- although nothing is as bad.

Preacher was interesting, I liked it. Will continue to watch it.

I agree, kind of out of shows worth watching, re-watching Prison Break.

Anybody here watch Bloodline?

Saw the pilot. Doesn't seem like anything great but wasn't too bad.

I actually enjoyed Bloodline quite a bit. Very solid performances from Ben Mendelsohn and Kyle Chandler in the lead roles.

Looking forward to season 2.

Probably for the best. The experiment that was season 2 probably shouldn't be repeated.

Haven't psyched myself up to do it from what you've told me, Banshee was so amazing and the last season could've been the best with the main characters going at it.

Someone's got to be the pleb in society, after all.

I personally only watched Supergirl and Lucifer from that list. Enjoyed both tbh.

Watched the Preacher pilot. Very very different from the comics. Was intriguing and Cassidy was goddamn perfect. I hope that a certain backstory is not changed too much, other than that I am in for the ride.

BarrileteCosmico wrote:Just finished reading Preacher... how the hell are AMC going to turn this into a TV show? They're not subscription based and edited out the F*** whenever Breaking Bad used it, but there's hardly a page without a "F***", and that's not even counting the violence, sex, outright blasphemy, etc. Interested to see how that will play out.

Yeah the show is nowhere near as balls to the walls as the comic was Laughing

Any great, finished tv shows out there (that, obviously, didn't get canceled) that anyone wants to recommend?

I've watched the Sopranos, the Wire, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Mad Men, Lost, Californication, the Newsroom among other highly critically acclaimed shows.

Currently watching Supernatural, Walking Dead, House of Cards.

Was thinking of watching Oz, the Shield, West Wing, or starting Game of Thrones or Peaky Blinders but I want something that's done. Any suggestions?

I gave it a shot because I found the premise interesting but it's your typical shitty network show. Not even the good kind of shitty like The Event and Flashforward.

What are you into? What are your favorite shows. If we know what you like we can probably give you better recommendations.

Band Of Brothers, The Pacific, Generation Kill. HBO's trifecta of war miniseries.

The Shield, Justified, Six Feet Under, Oz, House Of Cards (UK), Boardwalk Empire are all great shows thats done.
