Poor Ashley. He's probably being held at gunpoint by Mole, forcing him to make all these signings. Ashley's trying to tell Mole they already signed a whole new XI in the summer, but Mole keeps forgetting every signing the club's made. The depth of Ashley's pockets the difference between life and death, smh.

He was forced to sign players in the summer because he allowed Pardew to sell Cabaye, Debuchy, Ben Arfa, Yanga-Mbiwa and Santon (obviously had to replace Remy as well) Other than the first two they were let go for practically nothing, if we didn't buy we would have gone down and still might.

how incompetent do you have to be though, all these signings in the last half of the season because you're desperate to avoid relegation to secure dat PL money, hopefully if newcastle stay up that slob realizes u need to invest properly every season ffs

I guess we've been heading this way for a while now but unless you're Madrid, Barca, Bayern, PSG, Dortmund or Juve, prospects and players just shy of that world class bracket would rather sign for scrub PL sides than anyone else

He won't, the year we signed Yanga Mbiwa, Sissoko, Debuchy, Gouffran and Haidara in January we signed nobody the following summer other than Remy on loan.
