I haven't noticed any change so far from side enemies. Let's see when i face a boss

Tbf i didn't either, but the boss felt substantially easier. It could be a case of repetition as it's not a boss which has many mechanics it's just straight difficult.

I am gonna go through it again and test some of the other bosses as they have more mechanics which will make it more obvious if there's been a nerf or not.

It's because of repetition i think. You knew what to expect etc.

have to admit, it was one of the best witcher bosses.

But he suffered the same fate as the ones before. Smashed him without ever being in danger of dying. Used 1 swallow in total. Was a long fight though.

The next one, found that one quite easy. Even if it was one of the most interesting and fun bosses to fight due to the various different mechanics.

BTW did he regain health when he hit you? because before patch he did and that will be a big inclination if it's been patched difficulty wise or not.

Yea he regained health after every hit and when he was about to die he called souls to feed on.

I was concerned about that after seeing a video post patch of the wraiths not healing him and his hits not healing him either.

Must have been a glitch, i still found it easy regardless but that would have been disgusting easy mode. Which is why i was convinced it was nerfed, then i faced the boss i struggled with and found it easier but as i said it could have been down to repetition.

Plan to play through it one more time regardless so we'll see.

Lol, i mainly used Quen and specter oil. There's probably other stuff which is effective in hindsight.

BTW i shouldn't have to mention this but i'm going to, later on you will find a quest which says go see Shani but it says optional.

Ignore that because it leads to a quest which is very important for the overall story, no idea why it says optional because it's very important but some might see that and ignore it completely.

That quest is GOAT imo, best in the entire expansion.

Can't believe it's been months since the release and numerous patches, but the loading time is still disgusting
