Well we all agree with that lol, all i was saying is i don't need to watch every Raw before a PPV to be invested as the 2 minute promo's do the job.

That did that with the AJ and Nakamura match and did that with the TNA matches i have watched. Discussion started that story is more important when nobody said otherwise.

Completely agree with Cas. Story is what makes it great, and then you have stories seeping into the actual match which makes it special. That's why Bayley vs Sasha Banks was MOTY on 2015.

If all it takes is 2 mins to summarise a feud, then the story obviously must suck imo. A prime Punk, Rock, Austin etc promo alone is longer than that. Plus what about all backstage segments, live reactions etc. It's more about being in the moment as the story develops imo. The match is just the pay off. Or at least that's how it should be.

It's like somebody watching just the finale of a TV show after having watched a summarised video package of the previous however many episodes. Sure you get a feel for the show, but for the full experience, I'd rather watch every episode.

I think the biggest problem with WWE nowadays is that they suck at creating feuds that have heat. You'd think with a 3 hour show, they would be better at doing that, but I guess not.

Unless their is an obvious storyline they're awful at making you care about why 2 guys are fighting. Ever since I started watching again (2014), these are the only 3 storylines that were actually interesting:

Well that's true but i was talking about watching matches that i heard about and haven't seen from months back. I'm not gonna go back and watch every weekly show to cover it all.

In that the promo's do a good job in getting my invested in the match enough for me to know what is going on as long as the match is good.

I guess it's just a matter of preference. Just tuning into a match and enjoying it with a 2 min promo, that sort of thing wouldn't work for me.

It's always the story on the weekly shows that actually gets me to watch the match.

According to PWInsider, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion and WrestleMania main eventer Daniel Bryan was seen today in Phoenix flying to Seattle. PWInsider says that they have been told he is scheduled for Raw tomorrow.

Bryan has been out of action for several months due to a concussion. He was forced to vacate the WWE Intercontinental Championship in May.

Update: Daniel Bryan was seen at an airport with both his beard and hair cut.
