He has all the data and experts he could ever want but he often disregards advice and takes unnecessary risks with players.

Wenger after not signing anyone in January: Ozil is like a new signing.

uncanny how Wilshere and Ramsey are never fit at the same time

Wilshere will now play, be amazing and then get injured when Ramsey is back in training

So Ramsey could be out for as long as two months, and Iwobi is out for a month.

A big blow for Iwobi who looked really sharp in pre-season, but you're not a full fledged Arsenal player until you've misssed a chunk of a season through injury.

Guess it's #YearoftheOx time again.

Ramsey and Iwobi both out for "three weeks", expected to be back after the first international break.

Think we can already leave this here then:

“It’s a bit early, I will have to take a gamble maybe, but I still have 48 hours to decide that.

“If I have to gamble on one, it will be him [Koscielny].”

Our season is in serious jeopardy if we rush back and lose any of Giroud, Ozil or Koscielny.

The catch-22 is that not playing any of them puts us in a much weaker position going to Leicester.

Heavy is the head, right?

Welbeck may be back around Christmas
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/08/18/danny-welbeck-now-due-back-by-christmas-in-rare-injury-boost-for/

I saw an opinion on Twitter that we should try to sell him asap, but honestly I'd be gutted if that were to happen. (Nor do I expect it to.) Welbeck has looked excellent whenever he's gotten his stride for us. The injuries have been very unlucky. Honestly, of the kinda-sorta 'British core,' he and Ramsey are the players I have the most belief in as solid, grown-ass contributors to the squad.

Jenkos back in training?

Surely we can move Debuchy on and keep Jenkos as cover, along with Holding?

I'd keep Debuchy to be honest even if he doesn't want to stay. You have a juicy contract, shut up and fight for your position. You  are going to give up your spot to the young kid in front of you not serious.
Jenkinson has never showed anything special to be honest. I don't think he is good enough to be a starter. Mid table player at best as harsh as it may sound it's the truth.

Jenkinson would show more fight and desire than a past it Debuchy. Have you even seen Debuchy play the last few times? He is worse than prime Andre Santos at this point!!

Debuchy has declined so badly, I'd rather wait on Jenkinson or push Holding/Mustafi to fullback if, all the forces in the Universe forbid, Bellerin is out.

You guys are being too harsh, how do you expect him to perform well when he is just back from injuries and hasn't had a proper run in the team to build confidence and consistency. It's hard to judge the guy when he hasn't been given a proper run. Jenkinson hasn't even achieved half of what Debuchy has done in his career yet people want him as a starter. A motivated, fit debuchy is way better than Jenkinson. I rather have him instead of Jenkinson if Bellerin is injured.

That's the problem, he is not fit or motivated enough.

Jenkinson on loan pre-injury was solid btw.

And it is not about what Debuchy has or has not done in his past. It is about the Debuchy we have in our hands today. A shadow of the player who came in and made us gloss over a Sagna-shaped hole.

Jenkinson and Debuchy are as bad as each other. Jenkinson is probably on less wages so Arsenal rather keep him

Nah, Jenkinson pre-injury, as Sri said, was far better than the Debuchy we have on our hands right now. I imagine he's more highly motivated by default. Debuchy hasn't been happy here for a long time.
