I was getting emotional earlier because Phritz has telling me what i can and can't like, that i like playing with kids and the only way you can enjoy a game like Battlefront is if you are casual.

Not to mention the standard elitist lies and BS, yet everyone is coming in here telling me to stop having a go at him and stop personally attacking him. ( which i didn't anyway)

That's what pissed me off, how would you feel if someone has been telling you how to think and feel and that you like playing with Children and then when you call him out on his BS you are accused of personally attacking him.

So yeah you can all *bleep* off with that nonsense.

I suppose this could be in a separate thread but honestly not sure it's worth it so we'll just try it here (for now).

What are your all-time top 5 favourite (not necessarily "best" but generally favourite to play) and top 5 most disappointing (not necessarily "worst") video games ever?

Disappointing is a tough one and i can only think of 2 of my top 5 favourite atm

Yea, the "Disappointing" category tends to be tougher than it might seem initially, because a shitty game that you expected to be shitty doesn't really count, whereas as a decent game you expected to be fantastic possibly could.

I'm mainly trying to think of what games i was really looking forward to which really disappointed me.

Favorite:

1. Mass Effect 2
2. Witcher 3
3. Mass Effect 3 (excluding that crappy ending)
4. Sleeping Dogs
5. Alan Wake

Disappointing (in the sense that i was really hyped up for them):

1. Batman: Arkham City
2. Watch Dogs
3. MGS 5: The Phantom Pain
4. Bioshock: Infinite
5. L.A. Noire

Too many games I enjoyed across three generations for me to make a top 5. I'll give a try at disappointing though.

Mercenaries 2
Metal Gear Rising
Modern Warfare 3
True Crime: New York
Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness

Think i'm near my favourite 5 though, just trying to narrow it down. Also going to avoid multiplayer and sports games completely even if i enjoyed them.

Donkey Kong 64

There's so many though, i could name a list of 5 for each console i have played tbh.

Now that I think about it, a lot of my favourites are JRPGs and PS2 first person shooters. Strange contrast.

Favourites:

Golden Sun (and it's sequel) - First JRPG I played all the way through, on the old GBA. Gave me the taste for them. Graphically and musically it was very impressive for a GBA game, and the gameplay was good enough to convince 10 year old me to put in the 40 hours required to finish it.

Tales of Symphonia - Remember seeing this game on a show called Gamesville that used to be on Sky on weekend mornings in the early 2000s. Convinced my bro and I to ask for a Gamecube just so we could play it. Completed it 17 times, so I think I can call it a favourite.

Fire Emblem: Awakening - Just found it an amazing game. Bonus points for adding value to my 3DS.

Timesplitters/Red Faction 2 - FPS games I played with friends a lot. Laser guns that could shoot through walls and sticky grenades were banter.

Dragonball Z Budokai 2 and 3

Disappointments:

Hard to pin down games that really, really let me down because I played almost anything when I was younger and nowadays I don't buy anything I know I won't like (unless it's cheap, in which case it's difficult to be that disappointed). The recent Super Smash Bros turned out to be not as fun as I thought it'd be and it was a mistake to buy it for the 3DS. I had less fun with Uncharted 3 than the other two, too.

I didn't like it

There was 3 platformers on the N64 alone which i enjoyed more.

Not going to say anything about Battlefront since Mole takes it personally.

What i took personally was you telling me what i should and shouldn't like and telling me i like it because it's easy. I don't care that you don't like the game or anything like that, if i did i'd get in a lot more arguments on here than i do.

Thoroughly entertaining feud. Should be nominated for feud of the year along with RG vs Dnmac and LeVersacci vs Unique.
