Who's the best

Now that Brazil and Argentina are out of the Copa and fans of both teams have the transfer market to look forward to, outside of Messi, who is the best player from these two teams and who would you want your club team to pick up? There are a lot of players from the two squads who's values and transfers are up in the air, and I think there are a lot of different ways to answer this question, I just want to see what most people think.

Yes, but who is the best???? IMO, Aguero is.

I think Gago was somewhat the surprise of the tournament out of both teams, although he wasnt that brilliant, and most people know about his great potential. If Madrid will sell, he has upped his value and garnered some new interest I suppose.

If I had to pick a player for Madrid, I'd find it hard. First, I don't really want any new players (although I wouldn't say no to Dani Alves at rightback, even though he sucked in the Copa), nor do I think we can necessarily improve with any (ignoring Messi, and maybe even him, since we'd have to complete rearrange the team)... Maybe Aguero then? Although he was somewhat disappoint too... Lucas Leiva...

Yea, Gago was good. Argentina was much sharper when he was on the field. Thats quite a conundrum Madrid has on there hands. What do they do with him? IF they sell they probably won't get the right value and if they keep him, he won't play much.

id keep him. lass is leaving, altintop is injured till november...

lets give gago a chance, he can be just as useful as khedira, cmon gago has talent...

1) Messi is the best player in the squad.
2) He would, no-question-asked, be on your team.

I find both those presumption to be false. Particularly, in light of his recent abysmal performance for Argentina (where he flopped hard).

Messi flopped hard huh??? Nobody on these two teams played great in this tournament, hence they are both not in it anymore. That was kind of the point of the whole thread. If you would not take Messi on your team then you are even dumber then your posts suggest.

Maicon was my favourite player of those teams. A beast running as an ostrich.

Barca will sign Gago just because he said Barca is the best team ever.
