Depends on the club pursuing him. Higher prices for English clubs, higher yet for those near or above us in the table. I've accepted that there's no way we're getting our money back on him though so if a club from continental Europe was interested I'd absolutely accept something at or above £25m, I think.

Fair enough, so only taking a small loss.

£7m isn't a "small" loss in my book, but it's probably the best we could hope to manage.

Well, watched him 3 or 4 times (as it was said he will be joining united even by dimarzio) and he was a good player for his age. Has energy and athleticism and likes to drive ahead with the ball. Technically he isnt that good though. But of course has time to improve.

Manchester City have reportedly beaten Barcelona in the race for Sassuolo full-back Sime Vrasljko.

The Neroverdi's signing of the talented Croatian two years ago for €3.5m may prove a very worthy investment, as his value has more than doubled by now.

While Vrasljko is believed to be a target for Barcelona, the Daily Star on Sunday claims that Manchester City have already won that race.

Apparently Barcelona's sporting director Ariedo Braida was sent over to meet Sassuolo and negotiate a deal, but was told he'd been beaten by former Blaugrana Coach Pep Guardiola, who wanted the player for the Citizens.

As well as Barcelona and Manchester City, it is believed that Juventus and Atletico Madrid have an interest in the player.

Would be a fantastic signing for them. Perez went on a Vardy like run of scoring earlier in the season; one of those annoying forwards that never stop moving and pressing defenders.

I think he cost £38mil upfront

You paid 50m € for Martial, with additional 10m bonus each for
1) 25 goals for Man United (almost there)
2) 25 appearances for the French NT
3) Ballon D'Or nominated
(Football Leaks published the contract).

So basically you paid a relatively certain 70m.

I've not yet heard any specifics about the bonuses beyond the 35m € we paid for Sanches.
Dreesen mentioned the FIFpro XI and the Ballon D'Or.

Safe to say if Sanches gets in there he's be worth some extra money..

According to Sports Witness, Renato Sanches will cost the following
€35m upfront
+ €5m every 25 games to 125 games: €25m
+ €20m for Ballon d'Or final 3, and FIFA Team of the Year.
= Total €80m.
