Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Schalke looking good for the first 30 minutes, taking the game to Dortmund. No goals yet though.

I dont think Dortmund have had a shot yet?
Schalke looking the better team, so far.

Well, they did beat Wolfsburg, a team so desperate, it looks like they will be hiring a cyborg if rumours are true?

The cyborg by the way is Andre Villas Boas. I dunno, for me he has a robotic kind of speech pattern.

Fraudas Flopas to Wolfsburg?
I would be welcoming that and also would be rooting for him.

Vincenzo Grifo
5 goals, 6 assists, and the most chances created in Bundesliga so far this season.

Decent generic BuLi small club attacker.
Saw him score two goals and assist another right in front of my nose at Babelsberg the other day but I thought that was because of the weak opposition

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Kimmich's future is at RB. He is an incredibly mediocre footballer in midfield. Mediocre vision, through balls, no dribbling ability, moderate passing range. average technical ability/1st touch etc. He is not even a beast defensively.
Vidal is mediocre tactically & technically. In Juve's 4 man & 3 man midfield everyone like Pogba or Vidal have to do part of the job in a slow league & look awesome. This is not to he is not good - But he is not elite good.
Sanchez is a bright talent.
Alonso is too old.
Thiago is amazing & our best CM every single game.
The Midfield is our weakest & has been our weakest for many years, Schweni has been past it with injuries, Alonso was old & so on - There was always a spot & now this is a mess. 0 Creativity.
I didn't want Hummels, Martinez-Boa was perfect - Either Keep Benatia or buy a new CB - I think in 40M you can buy many new CB's but you can't get an elite CM like Gundogan - They are just not available.
This could be one of the best transfer of the season when an elite CM is available under 50-60M!
Imagine Gundogan-Thiago-Sanchez/Kimmich/Vidal
That midfield & that competition!

Kalou ffs
BMG got slapped.
If I were Löw, I would try Mitchell Weiser as a RB.

I have not been amused by gladbach for a while now. I dont want to upset you more, but I think Sommer should have saved that first header from Kalou, as well.
Poor Patrick Hermann, feel very sorry for the kid.
Bayern v Hoff is on the telly today. I would like to hope and think that this turns into an open, high scoring, entertaining game. I can only hope.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
With the hour time difference, I have a lot of time before kick off.
Bayern v Hoffeheim
It seems a lot of people in Germany have a problem wih Hoff. Let me try and explain why. Dietmar Hopp is they guy who put a lot of money into Hoffenheim, he was a fan and if I recall correctly also played for the club at some level? Hopp, for those who dont know, created and is CEO or whatever of SAP. I know he also owns/part owner of the San Jose Sharks ice hockey team. Anyhow, he puts in a bunch of money into his child hood team and they move up into the 1st div, builds them a nice new stadium and everyone is happy, right?
Well, no, the stadium is built in a little town in the middle of nowhere ( which you could kind of say about Kaiserslautern) but when he decides to stop supporting the team, you will leave this burden on the club and it will be a Holy mess.
That is really it in a nutshell, as far as I know Hoff still has 51% club members rule? I could be wrong on that. Please fell free to correct me at anytime, I am going by memory on all of this.
I like the Hopp and Hoff story. If I was really rich and wanted to give money to the club I played on, when I was young, I see nothing wrong with that. Not to mention I like how Hoff plays, they have laways been an attacking team. It would be great if they won today.
3-3
Bayer vs Darmstadt
It seems not enough people in Germany have a problem with Bayer.
For those that dont know, bayer are heroin pushing, gmo food poisoning, thalidomide baby creating, praying on the weak and stupid pill popping society we live in whore company that exists only to feed off the fears and stupidity of the society we live in... Ok I wont get into it, but I hate Bayer and I dont like the team.
1-1
HSV vs BVB
HSV was initially created by a Reeperbahn whore and Mongolian sailor...Ok, enough I wont go there.
HSV is so bad that their top scorer is Bobby wood. HSV is so bad that thier top scorer has only two goals. HSV is so bad that Bobby Wood is their ONLY goal scorer.
0-3
Ingolstadt v Augsburg
Ingolstadt is almost as bad as HSV, except that they have scored 350% more goals.
1-2
Freiburg v Wolfsburg
I know it is very fashionable to talk about managers and tactics and such, even when 99% of games are dictated by having better players or putting in more effort or getting lucky, but I do like Christian Striech, the Freiburg trainer. He has done a lot with this team, which he has been with forever and has ridden the ups and downs with them. On the other side. Wolfsburg is going down like a lead filled Zeppelin.
3-2
Frankfurt vs Koln
I hope Frankfurt win this.
2-1
Leipzig v Mainz
Leipzig ,like Hoff and bayern, have yet to lose this season. Mainz had a meltdown vs Anderlecht on Thursday night.
1-0
Schalke v Werder
Schalke have scored twice as many points Europaliga vs Bundesliga even though they have played twice as many games. Lets hope this trend continues. I would be happy with the away draw.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
I was wondering what the commentator was meaning when he said they were "environmentally friendly kits".
HSV already behind 1-0, going by their goal scoring record, it looks like game over.
Bayern attacking Hoff for the first 13 mins, but Hoff defending well....so far.
