That could indeed point to a connection with Breivik then. Incidentally, Breivik mentioned the NSU and his fight against the muslim immigrants as a motive. He stated he attacked people of the leftist labour party because of their liberal immigration policies. So we are possibly looking at right extremist motivated terror here.

Again, Islamists can be German, American, English, Japanese, Norwegian, African etc. Islam isn't a skin colour or place of origin, it's an ideology, a way of thinking and believing, a lifestyle. This guy could've been Mr Germany through and through last month. A few weeks of intense radicalization and re-education and boom.

Well, in this case you have a video of a guy who identifies himself as German (with noticeable Saxonian accent), who insults Turks and who seems to be one of the killers. Plus the Breivik massaker in Norway was committed 5 years ago on 22 July, too. So this could indeed point to right extremist terror.

I don't think it's ISIS trained attackers at least, this seems somehow more amateurish than their attacks. Plus those folks almost always fight til death, this attacker or attackers have fled. What makes me feel that it is jihadist terrorism, though, is - if it's true - that there have been three attackers. Usually your regular nut jobs don't find themselves accomplices, they're lone gunmen. Jihadist terrorists on the other hand often operate in groups.

N24 just said that one terrorist killed himself by shooting himself in the head. It is still unknown whether he was the sole terrorist or if there were accomplices.

The police is currently interviewing around one hundred witnesses to figure out what exactly happened.

As for regular nutjobs being lone gunmen - this wouldn't be the case if you'd have NSU-related criminals - these were known to work in terror cells, just as neo nazis mostly work in groups.

9 people confirmed dead, among them a 15 year old girl. Another dead found one kilometer from where the shooting happened- this might be one of the gunmen or the gunman.

Editor-in-chief of Abendzeitung (local Munich paper) just tweeted that half an hour ago there were gunshots near their editorial office

N24 showed a picture (on TV) where the guys from both videos (one of the gunman in front of the McDonald's, the other with the gunman from that "talk" on the parking lot roof) were shown together and it appears as if they show indeed the same person.

Right wing terrorism in Germany is very real. It's not as big a thing for the whole world as Islamic terror, but for Germany it is bigger, and real.

Right wing terrorism in Germany is very real. It's not as big a thing for the whole world as Islamic terror, but for Germany it is bigger, and real.

Had you already past cases of right wing terrorism in Germany ? I know just the RAF (left wing extremism).
In Italy we had both and the modus operandi was always different : right wing terrorism aimed on specific targets (like poltiics or policemen, such as RAF. ) but never the people . Neofascists hitted into the crowd " at random" , even attacking the trains.
It wasn't so different than yesterday tbh...
