Who's a great italian striker nowadays ? From a neutral point of view...the new coach better give up on the 3-5-2 and try to offer something else. Something more exciting.

Pellè is nowhere near Pelé's level, Eder is crap, and so is Immobile.
Leaves you guys with Belotti who has some potential + Zaza and Pavoletti that are decent... safe to assume that it's not enough for a World Cup, even more so if two of them are displayed to the detriment of talented wingers.

As premature as it gets. Played France 3 days after taking over, a first friendly that almost every CT has lost. Both first half goals were completely the fault of Barzagli and Chiellini in errors that only happen in friendlies.

The team played fine and he gave 3 players their debuts. Ventura will come through with rejuvenating the team like he is known to do. Already 3 kids played (Gigio, Belotti and Rugani). In the past he shaped Bonucci, Rannochia, Falque, Ogbonna, Belotti, Benassi, Zappacosta, etc.

He is not that good, expected, average coach with an old vision of football , and infact he wants to insist with this 352 even if Italy has talents to play differently.
THe coaches that are not flexible and they can't adapted players to their ideas shouldn't coach important teams.
