Also Community film is definitely happening on Netflix
What makes you say Community as a film is definitely happening?
As for ALA, not surprising. Show is amazing
Alison Brie heavily hinted at it during an AMA.
The show debuting on Netflix, Joel mchale doing stuff for Netflix, the cast reunion video, Donald Glover said he will definitely return for the movie if it happens.
All of this happened in the space of a few weeks, it leads me to believe the movie will definitely happen and it will probably be on netflix.
Will be surreal to have the six seasons and a movie come true. I remember searching "community" in torrent sites during high school and mostly getting community college porn links.

My bad.
Come on though, but those are inevitable. It is a cliche hero tale of revanage and pillage. You don't watch it and think any of those are in doubts.

We're not getting it here until next year sadly. Would love for HBO Nordic to be replaced quickly. There's just such a lack of content on there.
I still don't understand why these major studios hasn't built up a major streaming platform for all their releases. Especially the ones that never sell rights and physical copies. There's just so much material out there never being shown that could easily be used to build up a huge catalogue.

I second this. I do think HBO Nordic has more quality in the majority of their shows compared to Netflix, but their library is so limited.
I actually got so fed up with looking for something new and interesting on HBO, that I ended up watching a Viking based anime on Amazon Prime, and I don’t usually watch anime.
I just finished watching Vinland Saga, and to be honest, I’m a bit disappointed. It seemed to be very highly regarded on here, and it’s a very decent show that’s centered around viking conquest, revenge and politics, quite similarly to Game of Thrones. It just didn’t live up to my expectations. Then again, neither did Game of Thrones.

They also don't even have everything HBO on there. I find it so weird to make a streaming platform without the smaller titles like Larry Sanders show and even a show like OZ in an actual watchable quality. It's still in 4:3 480p or something. It's unwatchable

I'd love the TCM stuff personally. It's almost impossible to find any classic titles on a mainstream platform. On Danish Netflix classics is basically i film before 1980, Tarantino films and Forrest Gump.

only when there's no legal option to stream. I don't mind paying to watch a season of a show I like or signing up to a streaming service for a month.Blue wrote:You guys do not torrent?

I'm beginning to become a "Greg Daniels is a fraud" truther.
Michael Schurr was the real creative force behind their projects.
They both worked on The Office. Both created Parks and Rec.
Since they split:
Schurr has made Brooklyn 99 + The Good Place
Daniels has made Space Force and Upload. Both flops coming out in a short span...
He's lost "it"

Seems like the standard of sitcoms have really gone down over the years. Maybe there really isn't anything new to try anymore.

I've done it a few times. Paying $20 for 10 hours of content comes out at like 2 per hour, which is pretty sensible.
But earlier in my life I would have never considered it. It depends on everyone's circumstances.

We started watching Harry Potter on HBO Max yesterday, since I never got past the 3rd movie in my youth. Watching as an adult you realize Harry and his friends are privileged POSs who only break rules and keep getting rewarded for it. The whole ending (where Dumbledore decorates the hall with Slytherin colors because they won the House Cup, and then goes "but wait! There's more!" and tears down the banners to put Gryffindor ones there instead) was worse than calciopoli, it pays to have friends in high places. Can't believe I didn't see the corruption as a child.

The Good Place was fantastic. Anyone who haven't watched it yet should give it a shot.

The Studio Ghibli movies got added to Netflix over here at the around the start of the quarantine. You can use a VPN if they arent in US Netflix, or maybe they will come soon.

Funny how curfews eventually became what could save the world.
