Belotti vs Donnarumma part 3: return of the Gigi

Third Torino-Milan game of the season, and second this week! Milan has won both games, the first one courtesy of a penalty save from Donna on Belotti, the second one they won in spite of Belotti scoring with Bona leading a comeback.

Now its in Turin and in Serie A. IIRC Pretty much full squads for this except for De Sciglio and Castan. Montella will have to decide between Niang and Bertolacci, while Mihajlovic gets Falque back.

Given that they've beat Torino twice already, I don't expect Milan to lose. They should continue their onslaught of evil 1 goal wins terrorizing teams like Toro, who haven't done anything to deserve it, like the pos Milan are.

Just do I think that is being extremely boring this league ?

Basically we have 6-7 teams that win every match.

A FraudDeBoer-less (@zigra again  ) Inter got a score of 7 wins in a  row but it was basically useless.. Recuperated just a point from 3rd place

Then , we have 3 teams that ALwAYS lose. We know already the 3 relegated teams in Serie A

Consequently, we have 10 teams ( half of Serie A ) that have no targets.
They can't get European places, they can't relegated etc
I imagine how much is interesting this league for Genoa Cagliari Sampdoria Udinese Chievo Bologna fans ...

If it's impossibile to go back to 18 teams, at least he play out should be set uIp MO

15th - 18th to play the play out, and so every team 'd play seriously until the end

Otherwise, the boredom ' ll take over more and more

If its boring, its because of teams like Inter and AC Milan, that year after year have some sort of collapse and rule themselves out of the championship before they have a chance. I'm not trying to throw shade, but we've had a lot of clubs that are supposed to be near the top but year after year, they shoot themselves in the foot at some point during the season.

Last season, Inter was great until January. This season, Inter has been great since basically January (ok December, but it makes the narrative better).

I'd say Serie A is improving, Inter has made really good signings (and some experts even say they are the most talented team in Italy), AC Milan has become a very stubborn team to beat but seem slightly provinciale to me and not as overall talented as Inter for example. Napoli has been their same old self, Roma has been quite good also. Lazio and Fiorentina have both been rather solid also. Juventus has looked slightly complacent, we've gotten battered a few times already this season but our group is too good and we roll over too many sides for it to really matter.

I think the league is only going to improve. We have talented youth at smaller clubs, foreign money at clubs that need it, were about to get a fourth CL spot back.

I have to disagree with you on my side robes. This is the most fun season in years for me.

Juve, Napoli and Roma have been very good. Then 4 to 9 are playing great but competition is too tight. If you think about it, Fiorentina and Torino are having good seasons and play, they would be around 4-5th in the Serie A of the last few years, but now they sit 8 and 9th and its not even unjustified.

The top part of the table is very strong, all the teams are clicking at the same time, it had been a long while since this happened.

I guess its probably a boring season for Genoa, Samp and co., but for the top half its great imo.

That on top of all the new talent breaking through. I'm enjoying this one more than the last 3 for sure.

5 points from 1st to 4th and 1 point from 5th to 7th. The competition at the top is fantastic, and all the teams there can beat each other head-to-head.

Atalanta beat everyone but Juve, the Milan teams and Fiore beat Juve, Milan beat Inter, Napoli beat Roma and drew Torino, Lazio lost the derby but beat Atalanta twice and drew Napoli, etc. Its hard to call any of the big matches. Best time in a long time for Italian football imo.

Agree with the playoffs.

If we lose this, thats season for us. We face Napoli next, which is an insta loss, as well as Inter on the up and up. We'll most likely finish 5th, which is higher than what most expected lol

Romagnoli to be found guilty of match fixing after this game. Got destroyed on the first goal and looked like he had the agility of Matri going for that goal line clearance on the second goal.
