If they had any sense it's a decent excuse to get the belt on Jericho while keeping Reigns strong.

And then once Jericho goes back with Fozzy on tour the mid card on Raw can actually be a thing again and have someone do a Miz with the US title.

They of course won't do that though, because it makes too much sense.

They've made a complete mockery of that Universal title belt since day 1 or the day since Balor relinquished his title. With such a stupid name and Reigns possibly holding it in the future, nobody is going to take it seriously, honestly.

I stopped taking it seriously the moment they revealed its name Handing it to Balor to cement his mega push and then booking their US Champion and just about everyone else to be stronger than Owens doomed it to irrelevance.

Having to relinquish the title was a blessing in disguise for Balor. He's going to come back red hot without having to suffer from being fed to Reigns.

It was just plain stupid to give him the US title in the first place if they wanted him back so fast in the main event picture and they've only made it worse by booking him better than the premier champion on Raw ffs. Just horrible.

Authority figures suck, one of the downsides to Austin vs McMahon is it made Vince believe that you have to have an Authority figure on the show at all times.

Another reason why i enjoy Smackdown lol, even when Bryan and Shane are on the show it doesn't feel like they are overshadowing anything from the talent.

Also it helps and considering how negative i was of his in ring career it shocks me to say this but Bryan's character shits all over Stephanie and Foley IMO.

I'm actually staggered at how bad the decision making is on RAW. I knew it was bad, but not this stupid.

Two champions in a feud with one another is dumb. One title inevitably overshadows the other and nobody gains anything from it. Doesn't matter how good the writing behind it is, feeding one champion to another is the fastest way to undermine the value of those titles.

And yeah, authority figures have outstayed their welcome. They've become tired and predictable. They also have this bizarre habit of shitting on talent during their promos.

That's what i have been assuming for a while now, or they just have Raw decide their no 1 contender in a different way and use the Chamber for a WWE title match.

I have already decided on this, as long as it's not predictable i really don't care who wins it.

It's been too long since a Rumble which was unpredictable that i'm really not bothered as long as it's not completely telegraphed like usual.

So far neither Smackdown or Raw has overly telegraphed the outcome and i hope that remains the case for the next 3 weeks.

Not necessarily. They can have the WWE title being defended at the the chamber and a tournament for RAW which ends at Fast Lane.
