Seeing the replay, that is a foul by Alonso.
Sky justifying it saying you have to jump with your arms. He lead with his forearm
Good play to isolate Bellerin against Costa in the first place but foul is a foul.

It's not just a foul it's a yellow card ffs
ridiculous refereeing
commentators are so preoccupied with the notion that Chelsea are superior 'physically' that they don't say the word 'elbow' even after the 5th slo mo replay

Meh
They were the worse team in practically every big game except United.
Even Arsenal were better until the goal
Chelsea are overrated tbh

That was a clear foul on Bellerin but we know how these refs are incompetent so doesnt matter.
Hazard is such a diver its unreal. The Luiz goal was also a dive by that prick.

Alonso was very bad in the Liverpool Chelsea game, The fact he has to hug the line even while defending covers most of his incompetence. That said he has the specific tools to do great in the PL if used properly. Conte gets the nod here.

Re: Ranieri's Dream Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 11
I haven't seen anything that says Alonso is a great defender yet, I mean Conte's setup has Luiz looking like a top 3 CB in the world this year, but Alonso's desire for a goal has been good. Seems like a solid player. Players can improve.
