its not about awful teams and awful leagues. its about awaful managers. when the EPL had managers like jose ( first time at Chelsea ) rafa at Liverpool and Fergie at man u the EPL teams were always up there. the problem we have had in the last few years is none of the EPL teams can defend for shit. its been defending that has cost the EPL teams in the last few years. under conte Chelsea will now start doing well in the champions lge and mourinho will spend big and also compeate well in the champions lge in the next few years. sadly I don't see klopp or wenger putting together a defence to compeat tbh. potch will do well if spurs invest in players.

I don't even know how Premier League apologists have the gall to compare it to the La Liga who's record speaks for itself in the last five years or so. Top 6? Its a barebones Top 6 with no elite team. Just take a look at the quality of football between both leagues. Astronomical difference.

EPL is a wonderful and entertaining league but any one jumping on any La Liga team loss from a microscope will always fail if using EPL victories to support their argument. League has been an utter joke in Europe this season and recently.

like I said in my last post the problem we have had in Europe in the last few years is bad defending and I don't care what anyone says on this forum a good defence comes from a good coach. you don't coach naymar messi and suarez on how to make and score goals. they make and score goals because they are great players. defending is all about good coaching. good organisation and good team work. you only have to look at Liverpool under rafa. the squad was not even close to being the best squad in Europe but nobody wanted to draw Liverpool in the champions lge. rafa had a good game plan and a good defence and that's why we did great in the champions lge. right now we don't have managers that can put a team out that can defend well. like I said jose and conte are the only ones that can put a team out that can defend

Yawn want a reward for beating a past it Madrid team that was struggling against everyone at the r16 phase? Remember Lyon was a huge road block as well, ligue 1>prem? This current Madrid team would destroy that Liverpool team.

Oh also how does that address my post prem teams should stick to hoofball and nonstop running that so exciting according to English media and fans, while secreting wishing to be half as good as La liga teams at attacking football the irony.

prem is weak as hell been a fact for years now, all the competitive rubbish argument is because the big teams been underperforming/average they drop points more often but thanks to that prem marketing the league is "unpredictable anyone can lose", while bundi, liga, and series a, get criticised when the best teams beat the weaker teams 90% of the time like their suppose to do, I remember when Ferguson was walking the prem with a finished manu team for years, mou destroyed the prem with his shat footy as well, prem was never ever that good as the marketing suggests.
