different circumstances, the crowd were cheering like crazy for goldberg a few weeks ago and now they're booing a legend, it's the worst era where smarks clamor for unreal scrubs to get pushed just because it goes against the grain and throw a tantrum when these vanilla midgets aren't going over monsters smh

No one else gets booed, Taker doesn't, Brock doesn't or any other part timer. This is completely Goldberg exclusive because he's boring AF.

If Goldberg didn't win Universal title after wrestling for a 30 seconds he would still get cheered. He never should have been in the title picture, but of course this is all part of the long term plan to crown Reigns the champion after he beats Brock.

Got bored of squash matches when he had what? 2? and got eliminated in the rumble. seems legit, he barely even appeared enough to get stale. Just shitty smark era that feel they should shit on everything but vanilla work rate midgets who 'earned it'

People knew what they were getting, it's *bleep* Goldberg and what he's known for. When he announced he was gonna go for a title run he got an unreal reaction. Only reason he got brought back past the Lesnar squash is because the crowd were loving him. Not fair to boo him.

Hope the likes of Goldberg, Batista etc and other legends never return in the future.

Batista and Goldberg both in similar boats. Owens is a smark darling. People were upset that Goldberg squashed him like WWE hadn't put themselves into that position. Same thing as with Batista basically. Both got shit on because they were in positions the smarks didn't think they deserved.

Balor was the last vanilla midget they pushed who was a smark favorite

anyways as I said, this is by far the worst fan era.

Also Batista only really got booed because 1. Daniel Bryan 2. He's boring as a babyface.

Like i said this is Goldberg exclusive and they are completely right to boo him to me. Honestly feel like your complaints are very misplaced.

I hate smarks when they take after the show but in this instance i don't agree.

Also Balor being pushed has nothing to do with smarks liking him, in fact smarks don't love him that much tbh. I have seen a lot of people being critical of him.

nobody really got big pops last night at Mania tbh weird crowd, Goldberg was getting boos during his entrance and then cheers during the match, many people said that was actually the best match of the night. I still liked Shane vs AJ more but it was entertaining having watched it today.

People paying for the Network, buying PPVs, and going to Fast Lane live did not appreciate that they spent their money to see a one minute squash. When it happened on Survivor Series, it was shocking, it was great but on Fast Lane people got what they were dreading.

Brock and Goldberg did it's job well IMO, i have no issues with it.

Also Brock kicking out of the Jackhammer is first time ever i think, don't recall that happening before.

I'm surprised the fans haven't turned on Lesnar yet. I have read a lot of comments saying how he had been getting very stale just before Goldberg squashed him though. That did wonders for him in retrospect. Also helps that he has possibly the GOAT manager as a mouthpiece. It's hard to hate on anything Heyman is involved in. Whenever he talks you listen.

Goldberg squashing Owens made sense imo. After what he did to Lesnar, there's nothing else they could have done. It he squashed a non smark favourite, he'd still be getting cheered.

I was reading online recently that The Jackhammer was kayfabe the strongest finisher in wrestling and the most protected. Cool that Goldberg had Lesnar kick out of it, though I'm sure he doesn't care about such things lol. IIRC When reading about that someone kicked out of it once (Nash or Hogan) Think it was Hogan, but he only kicked out because Nash botched an interference when he was supposed to break the refs count or something. Only read comments never saw it.

That's true, i have complained about Lesnar myself. All the suplexes is a far cry of what he was before he Squashed Cena.

But it is what it is, but at the end of the day he's still relatively liked.
