Unreal hate from everyone over Mou's lineup pre-game
proved us all wrong, tactical masterclass
tbf we set up similarly in the cup and were competitive until Herrera got sent off. Let's not forget it was only a Kante long range goal that separated us from them then.

Main man Herrera did me proud. Always had faith in the lad. 10/10 performance. Kept Hazard entirely out of the game. Scored and assisted. What more should he do ffs and people still dont rate him.
Best I have seen us play ever since that Juanfield game under LvG. Surprise surprise it seems Mou hasnt lost it after all. And Rashers. Huge from the lad!

Costa's decline after starting well early in the season has been unreal. Def need to sell him to China now. Can see them going for Griez or Lukaku. Both will cost 80m

You can defend him all you want but the heavy price tag means every inch of his performances will be heavily scrutinised.
I mean Higuain had a good game against you yet was being portrayed as a flop of the match for his missed chances.
It's just how it is.

Lol Pogba had an okay game at best. He was just 'there' for most of the match. Fellaini and Herrera were miles better and crucial to the win.

How wrong was I...
Herrera, Rojo and Rashford did us proud!
Chelsea didn't even manage a shot on target. Completely outclassed today by United

Not anything new though, it happens every year in the PL with him lol. It's a trend with him at this point.

Reminds me of United
I meant to say, when Newcastle United were in the Prem, they were really poor.
We will have Henderson and Lallana back in our midfield next match so we'll probably most of our creativity back.
Firmino scored again. @Hames
Incredible player carrying us alone when we don't have Mane.
Chelsea screw up again. WTF
This is going to be one tight race to 4th. Hoping City lose a few to make it more interesting.

People talking about how he needs X,Y,Z to happen for him to perform, no player worth more than 50p and half a freddo past it's sell by date should keep messing up simple passes and jog around the pitch disinterested.

I think the view was blocked for the ref in this decision. Btw not surprised its Herrera's hand....

Pundits said it wasn't a pen. i tend to agree. Accidental. Doesn't matter as we completely dominated them and won 2-0. They had 0 shots on goal. Best performance I've seen from a team this season.

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 13
We got Jose'd and had no answer. I know the feeling all too well. We've benefited from it in the past.
Two biggest culprits today were Matic first of all, who's a bigger liablity defensively than Fabregas these days, as hard as that is to believe. Playing like a blindfolded giraffe who couldn't be arsed. He needs to *bleep* off.
And then Costa. My God, Costa. That's at least 11 straight absolutely shit performances from him now. He needs to get his bags and *bleep* off to China. I'd bite the hands off the highest Chinese bidder in the summer, seeing as they're still eager to get him and apparently more Chinese clubs will make offers. I've never seen such a low IQ striker who's supposed to be a "top striker". Christ!
80% of our attacks since January break down once the ball gets to Costa. It's probably the number one reason we haven't been blowing teams out the past few months. I'm sick and tired of him. I've had it. He needs to leave. I don't have the patience for a striker who only shows up for 40% of the season. There are so many things I could say about him, I don't even know where to start. Bottom line is he needs to be sold in the summer. I have a lot of reservations about Lukaku but I'd jump at the chance to replace Costa with him right now. I'm not even sure Mitchy can play worse right now.
Funny though that despite all of that, United scored off a goal that shouldn't have counted and a deflection. Regardless, they deserved to win today. I hope Anderletch knock them out on Thursday so they have no reason to roll over for Spurs when they play at Old Trafford.

Chelsea failed to register a shot on target in a league match for the first time since September 2007.

Mignolet, Can, Lucas all putting in class displays week in week out so that we tie them up with new contracts and suffer their scrubness next season again.
Typical.

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 13
Some Championship stuff:
Brighton can be promoted today if they win and Huddersfield lose. If both win, Brighton will be all-but promoted due to their vastly superior goal difference.
Newcastle still need at least two more wins before they're promoted.
The play-off places are occupied by Huddersfield, Reading, Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday. Only Fulham have a realistic shot of getting in.
Anyone but Reading and Fulham coming up would be cool with me.

Lol werent you the same guy who was saying Chelsea SHOULD HAVE won that FA cup match by a convincing scoreline HAD NOT for DDG and your poor finishing. Really not surprising to read this part therefore.
The 'traitor' who has finished at the top level completely and utterly PWNED the best coach in the league using his B team. At least we had an excuse that day in the form of a sending off. You seriously want to go the route of slating the goals we scored today? You werent even in the picture lad. You had zero shots on goal. ZERO... against a defense that had Rojo and Darmian. Go figure.
Not to mention the number of chances we kept on missing (as with the case this season), So speaking your own language, HAD those chances been converted we could have won this game by minimum half a dozen goals. So,kindly take your bitter bs somewhere else and learn to admit when you are being outplayed.
