Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 14
It always was. City would have finished 2nd if they didn't hit that injury crisis.
But If you win against West Ham it's 99% finished for Arsenal.
We are going to lose/draw to Stoke tonight before that even happens tho

City were never finishing second this season, Spurs have been the second best team by a landslide.
Besides us obviously, if you remove superhuman goalkeeping, injuries and overall bad luck.

i guess without injury crisis, it would be Liverpool finishing second

Has City given up on Iheanacho? could be a good pick for a lot of teams in the summer.

That penalty seemed terribly unfair to rule out

What about the two City players who were inside the box and Caballero who was out of his line? Or the very obvious elbow from Fernandinho and City's first goal being offside.
I guess the rules don't apply to big teams.

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 14
Lol, the only thing they were lucky about is Mahrez being careless enough to slip for allow it to happen.
Also yes the first goal was offside, but referees are human they make mistakes.
He happened to get this decision absolutely correct though, there's really no way of arguing that.
Also tbh Leicester didn't really deserve much anyway, don't remember City keeper making a save all game.

If you want to get really pedantic and throw "RULES" to my face then the penalty should have been retaken because of the two City players being inside the box while Mahrez took the penalty.
Now THAT would have been the correct decision which no one could argue.
What happened though is the referee decided to apply the rules for Leicester and not for City which is why they were lucky.
They were also lucky again when the referee decided not to send off Fernandinho for his elbow challenge against Albrighton.
It was one of City's worst home performances in Pep's reign, not sure why you are defending it.

I'm not defending anything tbh, just saying that the right decision was made in this particularly instance.
You're the one making a big deal out of it for no reason.

What's there to argue against though? the right decision was made.
Yes the offside goal shouldn't have stood but it's not like Leicester played well enough to do anything.
Before the Japanese lad's goal out of nowhere they were lucky they weren't 3 or 4 down.
They barely did anything between that and the penalty ( City didn't either in the second half though in fairness)
Classic small team had a decision go against them so they deserved a point BS we had to go through during Barca's domination and it's very annoying.
Also if Arsenal actually performed this season they wouldn't have to worry about this, they only their selves to blame for being in this position.
Also anyone who actually thinks Fernandinho should have been sent off when it blatantly was accidental and not malicious at all can't be taken seriously.
Instead of blaming the ref for making the right decision, perhaps you should blame Mahrez for being a pleb.

I didn't even watch the game
but I am curious to see how Moal supporting Newcastle in the PL next season interferes with his Guardiola PR job IMO

Why you talking then lol?
Honestly i don't care lol, Urban is the one complaining about the ref making the RIGHT decision lmao.
If i was as big a Pep fanboy as you say don't you think i'd actively watch their games? You have watched more Pep games than i have lol. I'm not even defending him, i'm defending the ref for making the right call lol.
I'm just not emotionally invested either way, so i don't say stupid things.

Is Urban upset the ref made the correct decision...?
Don't bring up that BS about players being in the box. That's never been a thing and never will be.

We suck, in case you didn't know.
Stoke aren't even bothering to play and we still can't do anything. All going down our left with no threat at all in the middle or right hand side. Giroud has been useless - doesn't link play, doesn't function as a target man, either. Coquelin's movement has been decent but he looks surprised every time the ball comes his way.
