The hole Salah will leave will be huge. Specially because they have no other real right wingers (as Florenzi is dead).

Glad to see others have turned on Roma as well. I myself turned on them after their embarrassing performance in the CL qualification rounds.

Likely an alternative to Salah, if necessary. However, I was under the impression that Keita Balde Diao was going to Juve.

it only makes sense if Mane plays centrally now, he can do it on Fifa, I think he can probably do it IRL too

45m for Salah seems pretty crazy, didn't Roma only recently finalize his sale from Chelsea for like 20-25, good player but not worth spending 45m on when you already have Mane

Can't shake the "one-trick pony" with Salah, but it has worked well this past season. He'd be tough to replace.

I think we're only going to lose only 1 player between him, Strootman (45m release clause), Manolas and Rudiger (40m each) this month. Anything more than that and it's already a bad summer for us. Gotta pay the FFP piper first though.

You generally play with two wingers, no?

Klopp made comments on multiple occasions that he saw Phil affecting games more from a deeper position than the LW slot he filled for the majority of this season. Chances are he drops into midfield with Salah - Firmino - Mane in front of him.

That's the point. The inflation in football transfer prices, especially in deals between the EPL and the rest, is huge due to the money influx.

Because of said inflation, we need to realize 40m is not a 'fortune' anymore, for an average (read: very good) player. It's an average fee.

yeah when you have clubs like Crystal Palace dropping 25-30m on a player in the summer you can understand the top clubs paying 40-50m for the players they want

that Van Dijk fee isn't surprising to me, the CB market especially is crazy nowadays with random lads going for 40m

Bargains relative to the market can still be had though, you'll still see plenty of great signings for 10-15m imo.
