but that defensive organisation on that freekick was even worse. 2 tottenham players vs 6-7 liverpool defenders. They all went back despite no runners lmao. Alli didn't even make a run and got the ball.

They're shit and I've mentioned how Pool need to improve their defenders, but there is no doubt that the system is a large part of the issue. Why the hell are Son and Kane allowed to be 1v1 or 2v2 against their centerbacks? That's not a game you're winning if you're Klopp and it's showing right now.

Andre Marriner and his team are doing their best to help Pool though. Poor mistake from Lloris, but Kane was fouled in the leadup.

After the beginning it looked like Pool were superior, but they haven't created anything beyond a bad mistake from Lloris and a lucky finish. Poch's tactics are spot on yet again, and Pool are lucky not to be down by more imo

its now easy to see why Liverpool have done nothing for 25 years. the club get shit manager after shit manager and instead of sacking them when they don't know there ass from there elbow they stick with them for 6 years hoping one day it will just start working.

Every time I watch Liverpool their centre backs are isolated against opposition attackers. They attack with eight players and leave two very average defenders to cover everything. They don't even counter-press that well.

Granted, this result is a surprise because it's usually the bigger games that Pool actually do counter-press well.
